My daughter moved into a unit on a large lifestyle property which had no internet . Staff at PB Tech gave me good advice which I followed. The main house, which was 80 m away through trees, had fibre connection but the distance was too far for a WIFI modem. I purchased a pair of Ubiquity LocoM2, and set them up with names and passwords at my home before visiting my daughter. I installed 1 in the main house roof and the other high up in a garage wall, used rough line of sight to align them and instantly we were online. Brilliant performer. I did watch a couple of YouTube set-up videos which were a real help.

As per comments below following a YouTube video will ensure smooth setup :)I thought this would need pinpoint accuracy ... but it is incredible how the 2 stations can send/receive - after setting up I took the receiving unit to the shed about 200 metres away and plugged it in and it received the sender signal while inside lying on the bench behind closed doors!Suffice to say they have a very broad strong signal spread - I have turned the power down to 4 on both send and receive and the transmission strength and quality is great!Plugged into a wi-fi router and now the shed has wifi with great Speddtest results :)Highly recommend !!

I have used Ubiquiti AirOS devices for many years. They are fairly simple to set up, given their flexibility and work well.This is (currently) the cheapest in the range. I have a pair of them in use to provide an Internet connection to my Pole Barn. The barn is about 50yds from the house. Just a bit too far to reliably run cable. Fiber would be a good option, apart from the obstacles that would need to be overcome to actually run it. Much easier to just set up a pair of these. Somewhat overkill for the distance, but turn down the power and I have a 300/300 Mbps link to the barn, which is more than enough for my needs.

Needed a directional AP for long range connection to distant camera 300+ feet away. This worked perfectly to establish a strong connection where previously the camera could not maintain a wifi connection to the existing omni wifi signal.
Selling Returned & Used as new. The Dirt under the second seal label was the giveaway. Non default password was the second. Shameful.
These are slightly different from the Nanostation 5AC. These require configuration from a wired connection. Once configured, they were used to connect 3 remote ip cameras back to the network. The units were roughly 450 ft apart, but connected with excellent stability very quickly.
Be aware that the product description is wrong. I purchased this because it was listed as having the dual ethernet ports, but the product I received has only a single Ethernet port. In my case, this was a deal breaker because I was looking to add an ethernet security camera to a remote area of my property. The goal was the use the Mimo as a bridge to the network.
I spend a lot of time with legacy 54M ubiquitis, bad chinese antennas and routers indoors with small panel antennas trying to make link work sufficiently fast. Then I ordered these superb value products instead of buying one Bullet M2 for ~same price + proper antenna. Installed to antenna posts and configured them in no time. Signal for 100meters distance is more than enought for full speed. For my suprise this device supports MCS15 - 270/300 handshake speed. So it can probably in good conditions and short distance emulate or almost emulate 100full duplex cable. Only thing that bothers me is strong upload download bias in favour of full speed download in speedtest.net caused by some sort of traffic shaping thing that I have not yet figured out.
