Easy ordering. Wasn't sure what to expect but had my hopes up. Was not disappointed. The directions were easy to follow. I was amazed at the two wooden strips that contained all the pieces. And I put it together. So enjoy turning that little 'crank' and watching the hands move.I also ordered a gift at the same time. The Post Office managed to misplace this. After dealing with those people (who were trying to be helpful), got in touch with UGears. They were unbelievable - they were prepared to replace the item immediately with some simple instructions on returning the 'lost' item. Should it ever show up.I will be shopping this site whenever I need something fun and unique with which to occupy my hands/mind. Thank you, UGears. You have 5 stars in every catagory.

This was one of my first clocks to build. I eventually built 3 1 for me, 1 for my cousin, and 1 for my friend. I love this kind of puzzle. I Will buy more. Keep up the great work.😎😎😎

I realize now it states "imitation clock" but that does not make it clear it doesn't work like a clock with the gears being able to move in time correctly like a clock does. I thought imitation meant it doesn't work to keep time because it's mechanically operated by the user. Otherwise cool project and easy to put together and follow instructions. I would think you could easily make it work with the right gears!

I love this model, I got it as a birthday gift last year but told myself I could not put it together until my work desk was cleared off...The pandemic shifted everything to my home and I finally got it all sorted. It took me a couple afternoons to complete and a couple moments of take that apart and put it together the correct way- but as this is my first mechanical model that's totally fine. I enjoyed assembling it, figuring things out and solving the problems I created.Only issue I had with the instructions was, at the end of construction the 90 degree horizontal gear was not quite high enough to consistently catch the vertical gear assembly that turned everything else. If it had to keep to a schedule I couldn't manipulate it on my own. Since I still spend half my work life on asynchronous time, this clock keeps that perfectly.
Fun kit, but the instructions are too small and unclear. The pieces are a real tight fit, and can be a problem if you need to undo some parts. Have the wood glue ready.
An excellent introduction to Ugears mechanical puzzles. Teaches one to follow directions exactly. And mistakes are correctible. A real sense of satisfaction when completed. Also a nice small display item. Unique. Nothing like it.
It is fun to build but then it has no purpose - too fiddly or breakable to leave with a child. The fun is the build and gearing. Its not a clock really, just a Rev Counter with a clock face, but I expected as much.
Like the other Ugears products we already have, quality of manufacturing is exceptional, instructions are very detailed and the provision of wax for friction reduction shows the thought that goes in an exceptional product. Further, if a piece is broken or somehow worn out, ANY piece can be requested and received free of charge worldwide

It was intended as a gift so has not been assembled yet. The nature of the clock kit is that it need not be durable because it is intended as a static model assembled by an adult or someone with some experience in putting together a kit. It seems to be an accurate laser cut model and should go together easily.
