This is my 2nd Uniden FP1200 corded desk phone (the 1st one lasted over 10 years) & I find it very easy to use with my physical disability with it's large buttons, I also often utilise the hands-free feature. I sincerely recommend it!

I've had two previous telephones of the same make and model blown up by lightning and always replaced them with the same, as I like the features. The answering machine is essential for those of us who do not sit by the telephone 24/7 and being corded, the telephone part (but not the answering part) still works during blackouts, too frequent in rural FNQ. The only improvement would be a battery to keep the time set.
I wish I bought a corded phone which has a function that lists and blocks unwanted repeat calls (Spam). Overall, it's not bad for a cheap phone.
Not fit for purpose for an elderly person with hearing problems. The speaker function was very disappointing.
The hand piece ear reception, echoes and rattles when I speak. It's very off putting. Those receiving the call, comment on the poor quality of sound. The phone is basically useless. Would rate it ZERO less than 1 star. if there was provision to do so.
The person at the recieving end of the call gets a nice clear signal but at my end i get loads of crackling when i speak. I have to move the phone about 8 inches away from my mouth to avoid the crackling/distortion. Other than that I like it but I cant put up with speaking like that. I wont ever buy another Uniden. This is the second one ive had. I'm going to ditch this one and get another brand
Only had it a few weeks, but everything works fine. Easy to put phone numbers into the memory. Not sure why one would want to the 'number of phone calls' on the dial, but the date/time etc is handy. From looking around for some weeks at what's available, I thought this phone was the best value and one of the few corded landline phones that ticked all the basic boxes.
Not for hearing impaired as highest volume setting (4) not very loud. Also caller ID hard to read as blue lit not black/ white
