Varta Silver Dynamic Battery E44

Excellent service, delivered in just over 12 hours from order.Great Battery, replacing another Varta battery that has not survived lockdown due insufficient use in second car, and poor maintenance, my fault.started 1st time after installing.Very Pleased

This is the second battery I have fitted in my Skoda - I fitted an identical Varta battery exactly 5 years ago but it was starting to fail to hold its charge. No doubt due to my low mileage and short journeys (plus hardly any use during lockdown) although I did top it up from time to time using a CTEK charger. So I suppose I have been lucky it has lasted this long. Skoda's factory fitted battery was rubbish and I have more confidence in the Varta brand and think it is worth paying a little extra for the 'Silver' version. I have also fitted Varta batteries (different size and the 'Blue' version) in my partners Mazda and these have also performed well. All have been supplied by Tayna whose service has been excellent.

Purchased for my 2015 Skoda Yeti Monte Carlo, the battery is bigger than the standard fit. Hower it fitted the battery tray with no problem and connections lined up with no issue. The only thing that didn't fit was the Skoda battery cover which I decided to leave off. When I have a moment I have decided to make one from black corrugated plastic used as floor protectors.

Early days, as I've only had it for a couple of weeks but so far all good. Replaced a previous Varta battery which was starting to show signs of failure.Must comment about Tanya Batteries Website and service.Loads of information about battery layout, capacity, dimensions etc. It would be hard to chose the wrong one.Next day delivery! can't beat it.

Over the the past year I was having problems starting the engine, I assumed it was down to the battery wearing. Finally looked at the battery closer to find it was under powered by 6AH. What a difference this battery has made, being higher ampage than is needed for the initial Crank by 5AH. There is no more stuttering and shuddering. It's now smooth and starts every time with no shudder, just engine firing every time.The service from Tayna was fantastic. Toyota Avensis T27 2.0 D4d 2015.Battery fitted like for like but with 780 cca previous only had 700cca.Fitted no problem, excellent starting.Ordered Monday morning, received Tuesday Noon, that’s with standard delivery. Excellent Thanks Guys !!!?

Excellent power boost for car starting.

Used to replace a 'dying' Bosch battery of same physical size. However, this one is stated to have 10% more capacity and capable of producing 100 extra starting amps more than the manufacturer recommended battery, so there is plenty of reserve there. As the Bosch battery ( 3 year warranty) was fitted over 4 years ago and was unable to start the car, a 13 year old 2L diesel, without the car's electrics playing up, especially the power steering, I decided to research a replacement to remove any uncertainty over car starting. As a 'big name' brand which is fitted into new cars by manufacturers I'm hoping that this this battery will be reliable enough to last longer than the 5 year warranty period. Great battery, good quality and very well priced!

This battery first of all is the correct physical size for my car's battery holder and secondly has the correct fitting for bolting it down to the car therefore making it a safe battery to fit to the car. The battery is Germany quality, is very well finished, maintenance free, and came with a Lifetime warranty. The battery was fully charged when it arrived and started the car first time. It packs a punch, kicks out 77Ah and 780 CCA which will ensure good starting, important to me with Winter around the corner. The instructions that came with it were informative and useful. The battery was very attractively priced and I cannot think of any negatives about this product.

Una buena battery

I was very happy to find Varta batteries in the store. I had been buying Bosch with total confidence as I believe in quality, but amazingly 2 of the last 3 Bosch batteries failed by 6 months of use. They were replaced under Guarantee at no cost to us, but it is not good when you have paid for a quality battery to begin with and then it gives more trouble than a cheap one. We have had Varta batteries on our new cars and they have lasted 8 and 9 years. We changed them in the end because we thought that the battery will let us down any time soon , so best to do it now rather than be let down on a night out. Michael Poole
