Varta Silver Dynamic Battery H3

First time I've needed to replace a battery in a while so had no previous experience of Tayna. To say they provide an excellent, cost effective service and top quality product is probably a well deserved understatement. From order to receipt of a shiny new battery on my door step took less than 24hrs. Very well packed and included details of vent removal etc. The battery was a precise match replacement for the original so was an easy fit. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Tayna to anyone needing a new battery and will definitely go to them first for any other replacements.

Fitted a Varta Silver Dynamic 100Ah battery to my Mercedes. Same as the original specked item in the car. Hope it lasts as long as previous battery. Ordered late on a Thursday, came next day but waited until Saturday morning to fit. It’s a heavy beast of a battery.

100Ah Varta battery to replace 100Ah factory fitted Varta optional extra (normally 75Ah) which had been in from new. Let's hope this one lasts as long! And it was much cheaper than the same battery from Mercedes. Obviously nervous about the size but it went in quicker than the old one came out. So, yes, very happy so far. Delivery (well within 24hours) was excellent, direct to door rather than to gate. Packing was superb, it would have survived dropping from the back of a lorry. Can't fault service so far.

Unfortunately I ordered this on the Friday before bank holiday & as a result I didn't receive it till the following Tuesday. I was very pleased with the excellent price & 5-year guarantee. It was well packaged & Installation went well. However, Initially my voltage regulator in the motorhome showed the battery had had a minimum voltage of 11.5v although after installation it quickly picked up to a more realistic 14v, on solar charge. so I contacted Tayna & they quickly responded & offered advice. I have now given it a real-time test in the motorhome for about 10 days with no external power other than natural driving & the use of a solar panel & had no issues this far many thanks to Tayna for the quick response & support in the early stages.

This is an Honest Reveiw of comment .I was I'll advised initially.Hence this Battery was Dispatched.Your Website does not Distinguish between E Class and E Class Coupe , which my car is . I found the error luckily by taking out my old battery and realised this H3 will not fit . Being 354mm in length315 is the max in a Coupe .Told to refuse delivery and S19 sent next day

Great battery! However Tayna originally sent a battery covered in dust, almost flat with clear signs of use. I was told this was 'quality assurance' or some such other answer, but appeared far more likely that it was a battery turned faulty and returned.Either way even if the battery had only arrived flat that would have been an issue. A battery of this size to run flat takes considerable time so either the battery hadn't been charged in months or it was faulty.To give Tayna their credit - they rectified the problem without any issue and had the battery collected and a new one arrived with no such issues that I could put straight into my car.

My Motorhome is 6 years old so decided to replace starter battery as a precaution. Tayna had very good reviews in Motorhome magazines & Varta is a well respected make. Battery arrived within 24 hours & was exceptionally well packaged. Will use again for my car battery. Highly recommended.

Excellent service and battery was very good. I learnt from my son who is an expert in cars that the battery should tested when it's delivered as new. A battery could be sitaing on the shelf for a while and the charge will go down. Buying from Hartfords, Eurocarparts or other suppliers can be tricky, Tayna was better but I still have to charge it over night to reach 780A it supposed to be 830A. However, I do recommend Tuna for the price and bettery charge. I justbought an original genuine Peugeot battery for my second car (from Peugeot) but when the battery was tested the reading was bad, so we had to replace it. Tayna is better than all of them and the price is very good. Sadly,although the battery was delivered perfectly and packaged really well. it does not fit in the car as it is far too big. Why yourselves and in your defence every other battery firm continue to give incorrect information I don't know. The car came with this size battery which when swapping over I discovered had no hold down clamp and was an absolute nightmare to remove. I made matters worse by eventually squeezing the battery in but scraped the edges. Checked everywhere for battery size and found the correct size on an Audi Owners Club website. So I have a large battery sitting and the prospect of having to pay for another (correct size) battery.Not a happy bunny.

Battery died after 4 months. Galaxus not interested - say there is no warranty on car batteries

Assuming I'd left something on in the car overnight, I went for a 20 minute drive to charge it back up. Nope, still dead. Tried it on 2 different battery chargers overnight including bridge charging it against another battery. Nothing. It is dead.Fine, things fail. What I am most disappointed at is Galaxus attitude to replacement. They simply claim NO WARRANTY. Told me to go to the manufacturer. Varta said NO WARRANTY in Switzerland, please go to your supplier.The exact same battery in Germany comes with a 3.5 year warranty - in the UK it is 5 years.
