This is the battery now recommended by battery manufacturer for my 2019 Qashqai. Previous one was 720A and EFB battery. This one is better and due to superior AGM technology and more power, 760A. When fully charged, ensures more time car running on battery, such as when using radio whilst engine turned off. When driving, battery recharges quickly, possibly due to superior AGM technology. In the freezing morning temperatures, car just starts straight away, no problems. This battery is just what my Nissan Qashqai 2019 needed. Im loving every minute of using this battery.

An exact match for the previous battery at a good price and delivered OK.Only one minor issue was the voltage on delivery was 12.44v which is a bit too low for a new battery. Could have been on the shelf somewhere a bit too long.Discussed with "customer services" (prompt answer to the phone) and agreed to place on charge. After a "FULL" charge reading, left for a day and voltage was 12.88v. Car started OK and stop/start is working again (if I don't turn it off).Will use Tayna again.

A high quality car battery delivered in double quick time and safely packaged for transportation. It has massively improved starting power over the failing four year old OEM lead acid battery. Instrument display is brighter as are headlights. MPG has also improved to high 40s even on shorter journeys in colder weather. Very happy once again with the battery and service from Tayna.

Battery seems ok for the time being with no problems in fitting the new battery to my vehicle. I was concerned that the infotainment system would need resetting but not the case. I am currently awaiting a OBD scanner so that I can update the battery details to my vehicle. Hopefully I will get a good life span from this battery if I keep the car. ( 9 years for the original ).Only problem I had was ordering online for some reason. The battery was delivered early the following day.

Great service from Tanya. Battery arrived the morning after I ordered it.Product was a like for like AGM battery. Was told by local garages that they would need to code the battery to the ECU on my i30 diesel.This was not necessary. Hyundai told me to disconnect the old battery, fit the new Bart's and leave the car unlocked for a minimum 4 hours. (Advise you disarm the central locking in the dashboard menus).Left the car as instructed for 6 hours, then started it. Everything fine, including the stop/start system.Only had to reset the clock and calendar after fitting new battery.Battery turns car over easily and fuel economy has been restored.Tayna. Avoid Varta

Avoid this brand. By far the worst batteries I've ever encountered. Despite being let down by Varta in the past, I was stupid enough to buy another as a friend said "They're a lot better these days" He's still my friend, but only just! I bought Yuasu instead (better value too!) and it has been perfect. Interestingly, (well I thought!) A friend who is a salesman for VW insisted his customers bought other makes of batteries for their VW's if they needed a replacement. From the horses mouth!

Direct replacement for my Octavia Diesel StopStart Battery

I bought this as a replacement for my Octavia 2L diesel AGM battery (with Stop Start) - 7 years & 200k km from the original battery.My current battery was struggling to start the car in the cold weather & stop start was no longer working.Fitting took 10 minutes & afterwards there were no problems, starting was much better, the alternator was not fully loaded like with the old battery and stop start working immediately after the engine was warm.Don't struggle with battery reliability especially in this cold weather.This is pretty cheaper & way to change yourself.

Short-Lived Battery - Will they honour the warranty ?

This is a Short-Lived Battery. This is the recommended battery for a Volvo V60 with a stop/start engine, and costs twice the price of a normal battery. The car stop/start worked for 6 months or so. By the time it was a year old it stopped accepting a charge properly and was regularly warning about a low battery charge. After completing a 2hr drive the car still detected a low battery charge. It is now barely 2 years old, so as it's just halfway into warranty I'm hoping they will change it, but I doubt it - I complained when it was a year old to be told that a modern car can't charge a flat battery so use a battery charger, so I bought one. Was sold a flat battery!

Purchased this Varta battery for my Golf MK7 TDI. Battery was sold without protective covers over terminals which I was bit suspicious about. Managed to find a time during the week to swap the battery as it was giving me grief. Swapped to the new battery and car was indicating low battery on the dash. SOC was reporting 30%. This was a click and collect, very annoyed Autobarn don't check their stock before it changes hands. So old battery in back to the store to swap over - will probably need to jump start the car on the way there and back. What an absolute hassle...Possibly a defective battery... Surprised as Varta have been great for me in the past.
