Each Verbatim CD-R from this 10 pack provides 80 minutes of audio. A disk holds 700 MB and allows you to burn up to 52-x speed. I was able to burn about 20 songs on one CD. This was easy to do from my phone to my computer by creating a file then burning the CD. I really like having CD’s to play in my car. It is very convenient to put a CD in and my CD player will hold several CD’s at a time, so I do not need sleeves or CD cases, either. Of course, if you have a PC you can burn CD’s to play on the computer while checking emails, etc. I made my selections of songs to put in a file on the computer, and made sure I had under 80 minutes total and it was all set to burn. These cds are all trash! They all came scratched and the store doesn’t take back cds. I tried a few of them and they all gave the same results. Scratched and skips! As high as they are I would have expected better! I will stick to my normal brand the only reason I got these because they were the only thing available at the time.

That said, these disks are best used for MP3 or WMA music file recording as digital music uses much less file space with equally good sound quality. I used up 4 of these disks and none worked to play music . Yes I know how to do it and used Maxwell brand before from rite aid but their sold out so came here to get these cd-r disks and non of them worked for music. People said they did but unless they did something I missed, I wouldn’t buy these for Music downloading burning iTunes music cd copy to blank disk etc etc etc.
Verbatim CD's are high quality CD's. I've had them 2 days and have experimented with them on different kinds of medium.I used them for pictures and they can hold hundreds of them all in excellent quality. I also downloaded some movies on others and they play in our Bluetooth/ DVD Player. The viewing quality is great, nice and sharp and the sound quality is right on. I also put music videos on one and documents on another. Every way I had tested them on, has been nice and clear and sharp. No blurring of pictures or garbled talk in the movies and music videos.
I finally had the need for using CDs recently, since it's such a rare thing these days, and I was pleased with how quickly I was able to burn data onto it. These are a nice quality CD, and although I'm not quite sure how they really work or what makes some burn data better than others, but these are definitely a great quality. Seems to run smoothly in my computer, and I didn't have any trouble with it not functioning. I like that the surface was a slightly rougher surface, and very clear-- all silver with four well-placed lines so that you can properly label whatever information you want to put. Definitely won't be disappointed if you need some CDs and want quality ones that will handle high amounts of data, as well as burn quickly!

I purchase the Verbatim CD-Rs to record and preserve several jazz CDs I borrowed from the local library to add to my music collection. For those people who have older laptops that have the drive to play and burn DVDs and CDs, these CD-Rs are a good purchase and easy to use. I have purchased them several years before, when I had was preserving a large collection of jazz albums.

I have used these CD's on multiple occasions and have only had a problem once where the computer was saying there was already something on the disc. I shredded that disc, switched to a new one, and no issues since. They record quickly and the sound quality is just as expected. This is one of those products you should always have on hand, because you never know when you might need something. I plan on putting some pictures onto one of the discs and clearing some CPU memory. I have been using CD's for years, and these are no different than any of the other. I do wish they had a hard case for storage to keep them from getting scratched while not in use. I have burned three discs without any issues on my Windows 10 desktop PC. I used the default media player (from the same maker of the OS) to burn the disc. I used the slowest setting, which, in my opinion, gives off the best sound, then burned the next one using the fastest setting and finally using the medium setting for the last burned disc.
