The 111mm Hunter is a second generation in Victorinox true hunting-outdoorsman pocket tool design. (The first generation was the Victorinox Safari Hunter, last made in the early '80's.) What makes these "true hunting-outdoorsman models" is the gutting blade. In the case of the modern Hunter, this is a short curved, serrated, round-tipped blade. (The old Safari had a full length curved, plain edged, rounded-tipped blade.) The modern Hunter's main blade locks with a button-release spring-lock concept. Other tools include a very effective full-length saw blade (non-locking), a combo bottle-cap opener / can-opener / screwdriver, a back-side awl / reamer with sewing eye, the corkscrew tool (more useful un-doing knots than opening wine), keyring eyelet (for a lanyard), ... MoreThe 111mm Hunter is a second generation in Victorinox true hunting-outdoorsman pocket tool design. The handles are rugged nylon for durability. The 111mm body is shaped to securely fit the hand. While you may opt for fixed bladed hunting tools, you'd not go wrong having this in your pocket or pack whether on a hike or on a hunt. (For not-hunting, more compact 91mm size outdoorsman use, consider the Victorinox Alox Farmer or a nylon handled Huntsman.)

Little plastic part that renders an otherwise perfect juicer challenging to use when broken. Part fit perfectly and saved a landfill a high functioning citrus juicer. Expensive for a little piece of plastic but the only place on earth I could buy one. Thank you!

This knife is one of the best hunting knives. The blade is razor sharp, the gut hook is razor sharp too and the saw is very nice to have. I would recommend for any hunter or outdoors man.

One of my two every day carry folders. I have the mini screwdriver for the corkscrew, in case my eye glasses need repair. I really like the side lock button. The gutter/seatbelt cutter is a good safety feature, also useful for cutting cord. Don't miss the can opener, but would prefer a file/metal saw to the wood saw
I initially bought this knife to get free shipping on the knife I thought I wanted. I like the knife's main blade size, how it feels in my hand, relative light weight, rounded edges and the features. I carry it everyday and the one I thought I wanted, remains in its box.
I still haven’t received the knife I ordered and paid fo it on the 28th November. It was for my sons birthday and never arrived. After numerous emails to your support staff just kept giving me the tracking number with no results,The knife I presume is still roaming around somewhere in the usps system .Hoping to get it by Xmas but not to confident we will see it .
I was introduced to this model knife back in 1991. I have always liked short exceedingly sharp knives for field dressing deer. Since that year, I have used that knife exclusively. I have used a set of crock sticks to keep the edges trued up. I bought a second one for a backup and a third one for my friend and hunting partner. Some use anything called a knife to hack away at their deer, but I love venison at it's best. That is why I prefer this knife. Always the right blade for the job. Thanks a million SAK.
I have the original version of this knife , a friend of mine wanted one . I thought that this particular model was no longer in production . When I started searching for an NOS or slightly used one , I discovered it’s still being made with some improvements. Instead of the slide lock on the side of the scales it has a liner lock , which makes cleaning much easier after field dressing a deer etc. This is about the most compact useful size knife made for field dressing big game , it’s size makes it easy to carry yet very capable. The gut hook and saw function great along with the main blade .it also has several multi function tools that are standard features on Swiss Army knives . I’m sure my friend will be surprised this Christmas ! I have carried mine for 20 plus ... MoreI have the original version of this knife , a friend of mine wanted one . This complete repair kit was necessary for me because my grinder was quite old and had long since discontinued nylon gears inside it which were failing. The new #5 gear kit fit perfectly, the only disadvantage to the nylon is the somewhat louder noise made by them - but that's ok because my machine is up and running again. I'm sure the machine will now be able to be handed down generations with these new cast aluminum gears.
It is the exact replacement part for a very old but otherwise indestructable Braun Juicer. Note it does not come with the rubber sealing nipple which you need to save from the old part.
