Great knife for thin slicing almost anything, bread, tomatoes, any vegetable. Thin but sturdy and stays sharp. I have one that’s almost 5 years old and it’s still very sharp. The handle is well made, no rough areas and fits large and small hands. Can’t say enough good things about this, and it’s a great price. Quality kitchen instrument.

I bought one of these to replace a version (from the same company) that had a plastic handle. The version with the plastic handle was so light that using the knife was . . a problem, though (in a way: partly _because_) the blade is excellent. The new knife - the one with a wooden handle - is heavier and hence better and yet the handle is very slightly slippery. Knives from other manufacturers are more grippable. I infer that Victorinox has what we might call 'a handle problem'. That problem should not exist, especially at the price being charged for this knife.

These are really great knives.I am not good at cutting cakes. Especially custard slice. I try to cut them, and I get a squishy mess. I tried this knife. Hey presto! It works. I can now cut fragile treats easily. I would definitely recommend these knives to anyone.

Victorinox make wicked little serrated knives, perfect for all the small jobs or a good substitute for when there isn't time to sharpen you straight edge blades. Comfortable handle and brightly coloured for when you put the knife in the open your eyes section. Been using this brand of knives for nearly 30 years.Would highly recommend

They always stay sharp and never need sharpening. 5 weeks travelling in Netherlands & Spain I took my pink Victorinox knife with me. We stayed in an apartment in Spain with friends and we always fought over the pink knife when preparing food. when we got back home I bought 2 yellow knives for her.
