The Cabinet itself is wonderful. Very quiet to operate and has good economy. For the life of me, I cannot get close to the 148 Bottles storage that it is supposed to hold. When I top and tail the bottles as per the user guide, the bottles are uneven and I struggle to get 100 bottles in the cabinet. I chose this cabinet so that I could store up to 148 bottles but right now I have good bottles of wine sitting in a cupboard and not in the cabinet as desired. I am recommending the operational part of the cabinet but I am not recommending the size for anyone who is looking to store more bottles of wine.

We love the multi zone aspect of the Vintec with reds and whites stored at optimum temperatures in the one fridge. Also delighted with the sleek look of the fridge which settles in nicely with our existing furniture. The fridge is very quiet & so far is a great addition to our lifestyle. Knowing our wines are in a safe zone is also comforting for us!

Difficult to understand how this could be described as holder 148 bottles. We have around 90 bottles in and it is pretty full.The only way would be to take all the shelves out and stack from the bottom which would make it pretty unsteady and impossible with various shaped bottles these days.So considering the money spent I would say I am a little disappointed.Very hard to actually see what you have in it as well as shelves don’t move.

If you don’t use classic Bordeaux bottles you will be restricted with how many bottle you can place in the cabinet; otherwise, great fridge that you can keep different varietals at various temperatures. This includes cellaring on the middle shelves. The fridge can be noisey at times when it’s cooling which is no louder than a standard fridge and turns off once at correct temperatures.
Love the smart finish, easy set-up and ability to stack the wine cabinet. Love the variable temperature between the top (warmer - red wine) and bottom (cool - white/sparkling wine).. Great value and quick delivery
Purchased two of these units. Sadly one arrived wired wrong but I fixed this.Look and work fantastic but capacity numbers are very out, I mean just count the bottles in the website photo.You would never get 148 bottles in and even 80 is tight. In this photo are 134 bottles TOTAL!So awesome cabinet, but for 70 bottles not 148
The fridge looks great and temperature control seems fine. My primary issue is that it doesn't fit 148 of my wine bottles. I fear that I would need to have all riesling to be able to do that. I do have a few larger (chardonnay/shiraz) bottles but most are the standard size and there are no large champagne/sparkling bottles, and I have not been able to fit more than 76 bottles in total which is a little disappointing. Perhaps I should have read the product specs in more detail and preferably seen it first rather than just buying on line.
Based on our satisfaction from our first Vintec Wine Cabinet (an under the counter model) we did not hesitate to purchase this larger cabinet and are pleased we did. It is quiet, attractive and the temperatures are stable/consistent. The only reason we didn't give it five stars, its a challenge to load as you must be very mindful of bottle shapes/sizes. This might ease if we purchase a few additional shelves. Overall, we are delighted with the cabinet and have it fully stocked with a delicious collection of reds and whites.
Still early days but, so far so good. Elegant looking and lots of storage. While both the Vintec wine fridges we own state bottle capacity, it really is an estimate. Bottle sizes vary and the amount you can squeeze in will not meet capacity. The 148 bottle is slightly more loud than the 50 bottle, but it's also doing more work. Obviously, we bought a second cabinet so we are expanding on our enjoyment of the first.
I recently bought the Vintec148 bottle Win Cabinet, finally get most of my valuable reds into their new "home"! It is a good looking piece of work siting quietly in a corner of our living area; and it has a built-in lock to keep your love one safe too. The only issue is that the shelf/storage design is based on the "standard Bordeaux style bottle" and is not efficient to fit the Aussie bottle here.
