When I was advised that I had been selected to receive the Vintec 50 bottle Wine Cabinet , I was ecstatic because I have been eyeing this product for ages.It did not disappoint, it's great to have all your wine bottles in one fridge especially with the dual zoning one can select the correct temperature for each variety of wine , champagne or sparkling wines, red and whites . Although delivery took 6 months which was very frustrating, it was definitely worth the wait, Im so glad I didnt succumb and buy a cheaper version of this while waiting on delivery. The fridge is whisper quiet and keeps our white wine, champs and beers lovely and cold whilst at the same time keeps the red at a perfect temperature. The only fault I have is I would prefer it to be 50/50 split with the temperature zones for storage but can live with it. Highly recommend.

Wines on the top shelf all ready for serving and those on the bottom in the cellaring temperature zone. We purchased our Vintec dual zone wine fridge as we knew of the excellent reputation Vintec have as a wine fridge product. We are certainly not disappointed. Rather than having our wine stacked in a wine rack it is now chilled to the correct temperature making it so convenient when we have friends over or just looking for an eveing sip of our favourite wine. The sytlish design also lends to our outdoor enterntaining area.
I recently posted a 3 star review of this product. Was happy with design and functionality, but it was noisy. Had a Vintec technician look at it and he said it was the model. I had arranged for a credit from Vintec, but as a last resort, we swapped it for a new fridge, and it is perfectly fine. Limited choices, so if you have the same problem, may be worth swapping for a new fridge first. Added extra star this time, as Vintec and retailer were helpful. Apart from the noise I was happy with fridge otherwise.
I am happy with it and the service provided by the retailer (Appliances on Line) who delivered it within 24 hours. My only issue is that if you need to cellar 198 bottles, there is no way that this can be done effectively. By this I mean if that if you have multiple types of wines, which come in different shape bottles AND you want to be able to easily access a specific wine, then you need to use multiple shelves to store your wine and this reduces storage capacity significantly. I believe to get to the 198 bottle target you need to remove all shelves and then stack wine on top of each other and therefore a bottle at the bottom will require you to remove all others. Suggestion to Vintec Alter the way the fridge door/seals are packed, then there would be no need to take a hair dryer to the soor seals - never had this in any other fridge. Perhaps I will buy another three shelves and then maybe can fit 70 to 80 bottles.Hint Buy the extended 5 year warranty - from the reviews on the Vintec cabinets - you are likely to need it.
This is my second vintec dual zone fridge. I replaced the first one, hoping that the new one would last longer, but it didn’t. They both failed with maintaining temperature, a fairly fundamental feature. These fridges aren’t cheap, I would expect them to last much longer. If it worked I would be happy to give this a higher review, don’t waste your money.
Disappointed with this fridge, as it makes a high pitched whining sound when cooling. Complained immediately after purchase and both retailer and Vintec said it may be gas settling and wait a couple of days. Didn't get better so booked a technician. He said that noise was the fan and this is normal for this model. This little wine fridge makes more noise than our big double door fridge. It is an otherwise good fridge, just not happy with how noisy it is.
