I love this new circulator. It looks just as great as it works. The control buttons on top make it so much easier to set. What I like most about it is you set the desired angle, just pivot and it stays exactly the way you set it. I own 3 different size Vornado from the Flippy to 560 Med and all 3 have excellent results.

I am really enjoying my Vornado Medium Air Circulator. Taking it out of the box I immediately noticed the quality of the fan and how sturdy it was. I like that it is compact and I am extremely impressed with how powerful it is. There are four different settings and the controls are push buttons. At the two lower settings the fan isn't very loud, but at the highest settings I find the fan to be some what loud. Not a rattling noise but just the powerful blow of the fan. It's very compact and fits nicely on my dresser and I love the all black finish, it just looks modern, and not like your typical table top fan. I was a little bit skeptical when opening the box of this air circulator, I assumed that this fan would be like others that I have tried before to no avail. I really was not expecting much at all of this air circulator but I was plesently surprised. From the moment that I plugged it in, I was amazed at the quality. So I opened up my living room window and placed the fan on the sill, turned off our heater and turned the fan on high, within two minutes the whole house was cold, not just the living room. I cannot wait to use this on hot summer days with my air conditioner and enjoy the whole house being nice and ice cold. All in all though, I gave this the highest rating because it definitely earned it. Well worth the money, definitely should consider this product if you are looking for a very powerful fan.

My definitive review will need to wait for sweltering days, which my city has been spared so far this summer, but for the 80s it's done the trick. My box fan was powerful but didn't cool the entire room. Plus it dried my eyes out. The Vornado 560 has been a pleasure. It's quiet, powerful, and highly adjustable. I should have bought one years ago. For me, it's been worth the money.
I gave it to my sister for a combination Birthday and Christmas gift. We both opened the box, and upon seeing it for the first , I will admit that I was not impressed . Too light weight and waay too small I thought. My sister moved across the room from where we were seated, and asked me to turn the unit on. We got caught up in a conversation , and within a few short minute's ,she stated that the air around her had changed and that she was feeling cool air rising and circulating around her. The unit was not aimed her way, I would like to add ! This is a very unique , not your ordinary fan .
The Vornado medium air circulator came to me at a perfect time. Our air conditioner had been on the fritz and with the circulator, we were able to keep the temperatures in the living areas down. This circulator is a very nice design with a stable base. It's very quiet on the lowest setting, and still powerful enough to cool a room. The higher settings are amazing with how powerful it is. The only con is that I wish it turned on to the lowest setting. It is a bit abrupt to turn it on to the powerful blast of air, even though it's the medium setting. I wish it would oscillate too, but that's okay. Overall, great product and would definitely recommend.
Strong fan for its size. However the adjustable pitch is poorly designed as there’s no integrated pitches or any resistance/stoppage to firmly keep the fan at a desired angle. Moving the cord alone will adjust the pitch. Also contributing to the poorly designed adjustable pitch, the rotary switch is placed on the fan portion itself rather than the base portion; adjusting the speed will always adjust the pitch of the fan.
The Vornado air circulator is simply amazing! It cools my rooms without getting in the way or being extremely loud. I have used it in place of my air conditioner, and the room actually gets cooler while using the air circulator. I like that the circulator is adjustable and that I can point it any direction that I choose. I do have to say that the air circulator is better than my air conditioner as of this moment and I would buy one for each room in my home. I sadly was not aware of this air circulator before participating in the program and have to say it upsets me as the product is great! I've owned this fan for 4+ years. It's not known for being quiet, perfect white noise for sleep. Attemped to replace with a tower honeywell dual fan (to remove from countertop). The Honeywell had a oscillating feature with no remote and there was no comparison (returned). I ran them side by side. My Vornado doesnt oscillate, but it was undeniable, Vornado moves more air. I wouldnt recommend this stationary fan if you dont like a lot of noise. Also, the fan control tends to fall off. It needs a permanent Fixture for fan speed.
Easy Target online order. Excellent updates and communication from both Target & UPS. Received it in 6 days. I’ve used it the past 2 days in my condo living/dining room. (Whole condo is 922 sf) With this little beauty I can run the A/C at a higher temp and still feel comfortable without blasting the A/C. Both bedrooms have ceiling fans and I never really wanted one in LR/DR, so this works. This replaced a tower fan that broke off of the pedestal but still ran, just wasn’t able to use it any longer in that condition. I was leery to change over from a oscillating fan, but once you place and adjust this 460 in the right spot, success!
