We have a tread and bike, but had only one Dyson fan which we would fight over if we working out at the same time. Bought this Vornado. Love that it has three speeds, and it's easy to tilt the head away from you when you're just starting out and toward you when you're getting hot. You can do this easily with one hand. One downside is that it's relatively short for a pedestal fan (see my photo for comparison to my Dyson), but since you can tip the head upward toward you, it doesn't really matter. Second issue is that the cord was just a little short for my needs but that just depends on your set up. Bottom line is that this provides a good strong breeze to cool you during exercise.

I chose this fan. I also wanted a product I could buy off the store shelf. Lowe’s website said they had 5 in stock and told me the aisle location. When I got there, none were at that location. An unfriendly employee looked it up, said they didn’t have any at that store. Then looked again and pointed me to a completely different part of the store. They had them. But they only had 2, not 5. I had to choose between a broken box and a box that had obviously been in water. I chose the broken box. Somehow, the product wasn’t broken when I took it out at home. I love this fan! No rattles and nice strong fan. A little shorter than expected, but not too short to meet my needs.Since I purchased with my Best Buy certificates, it didn't seem overpriced to me. Does it seem like a lot for a fan? Yes, but it is a solid piece and cooled up my 2nd floor bedroom during the oppressive heat in Coastal NC in the summer of 2023 (still needed a fan even though a/c worked).
This is an amazing machine. I was torn between this and buying an AC. I'm not a believer in AC, but was worried about the soaring temperatures. Even after the fan arrived I thought I will return it. But once I assembled it and felt the power of the fan, I was happy with the purchase. This fan can blow air hard. At its highest speed it can cool down a medium sized room in no time. So glad I bought this.
At first, when I received the fan, I had my doubts because it seemed a bit small, and my expectations weren’t high. However, my opinion took a complete turn once I switched it on. This fan is surprisingly powerful! I bought it to keep the air circulating in my room, alongside an air purifier for clean air. Even at its lowest speed (level one), I can feel the air gently moving around me without even directing the fan towards myself. I genuinely love this fan and highly recommend it to anyone in need of a reliable way to keep their room cool and fresh.
My mother-in-law is a miracle worker at cooling down a house in the hot Los Angeles summers and I've discovered her secret is Vornado! I bought this fan after our previous cheap one gave up the ghost, and I really couldn't be happier with it. the design is incredibly sturdy, and the fan power is really phenomenal. We also like it for the subsequent white noise it makes (starting on setting 2, as the first fan speed is fairly quiet) which isn't distracting but drowns out the noise of the street well.the product was exactly as described here on the website, and was shipped quickly and securely. thanks to the whole Vornado team!
I bought this product today at Lowes. I was skeptical at first because of it's size. It seems too tiny to make a whole room cool. But, this fan is the best I've ever gotten. It doesn't need to rotate to cool your whole room either! On low, I can still feel a breeze from it across the room. So, on high settings, I believe this fan will keep is as cool as I need it to be during the summer. It's quite powerful. I highly recommend it.
This fan really does surprise me with its small diameter but huge breeze. By definition its a circulation fan, but we honestly use it for pointing at us when we sleep. We like cold lol. Pro tip: if youre laying just right, you can set up your blanket to allow air flow under the covers. Its like one of those under the cover fan systems without the cost of an official one haha.

This year has been the hottest yet with temps over 100 degrees in Florida so many central units cant keep up with the severe humidity and heat combined so my sister had a VORNADO FAN - I figured all fans are the same but not this one! it puts out air at a tremendous rate of speed its unreal in the difference it makes! im a smoker so you wibt be lighting up in front of this fan and no complaints about that either! comfort as far as temperature is above having a smoke! i recommend this to any one needing a bit of help to stay cool in this heatwave! you will not regret it!
