Waterpik Cordless Advanced Water Flosser Brilliant Black

After a bizarre dental accident I had to get one of these per recommendation from my dentist. I was so annoyed to spend $100 on this and thought I would hate using it, but I am obsessed with it now and literally look forward to using it every night. My mouth has never felt more clean. I bought this cordless one so I wouldn’t have the giant ugly tank sitting on the counter and it was such a good decision. The base is about the width of two electric toothbrushes, and the high is the same as my electric toothbrush, so it’s really not huge at all and it stores under my counter really easily. It lasts for 45 seconds of water spray and then you just pop open the side of the reservoir and refill it. It takes 2 seconds and is so easy and not annoying at all. I usually refill once every time I use it. The charge on it lasts me about 2 weeks before I have to recharge. Some people have complained about the battery dying if they leave it on the charger, so I just set a timer on my phone for 4 hours when I know I’ll be hope and then take it off the charger at the 4 hour mark. So easy. I have sensitive gums and this has 3 pressure settings which is nice, and the nozzle head turns easily for better reach in your mouth. 50% of the time after regular flossing and brushing with an electric toothbrush, this still somehow manages to find some little speck of something stuck somewhere in my mouth, and my mouth has never felt so clean and fresh in my life than with this thing. I would pay $200 for this thing I literally love it so much.

Life changing device. I really struggle to floss due to how close my teeth are together, and this also means I’ve had multiple fillings over the years. I wish I’d bought a waterpik years ago, it makes it so quick and easy to floss daily. The battery life is really good, but you do need to fill up the water each time if not twice per clean.

Doesn't appear to charge

I just purchased tge flosser with magnetic charger. Indicator light did not note unit was charging. Returned and received second unit. Plugged in and indicator light started to blink. Moments later light went off! Concerned that units are defective as other appliances indicate they are charging. Is it me or should appliance light indicate unit is charging?

Flossing made easy

Used this the first day it arrived. Filled it with warm water as I have sensitive teeth and found the medium setting the best for me. Much easier than hand flossing and better to get around my wisdom teeth. But make sure you have a towel to hand as the water goes everywhere until you get used to using it. Wont go back to hand flossing as this is much easier and thorough.

Good buy

This is my second water pick - the first one was of a different brand I had to give to my daughter because hers which was identical to mine at that time was broken. This works exactly like my first one, only that it holds more water. It does a good job.

Great investment in healthier gums

My dental hygienist suggested I get a WaterPik and I've been very satisfied with this model. It gets into spaces that floss can't reach, and although my jaws and gums are quite sensitive since I took a bad face-first tumble on a sidewalk, I find the massage action very soothing on the low setting. Used in conjunction with brushing, it makes my whole mouth feel cleaner and healthier. A single charge lasts several days, and it's quite easy to pack in an overnight bag. Highly recommend!

Nice update with magnetic charging feature

My old Waterpik had finally quit working, and I was looking for an updated model. This one works quite well. My only comment is that the cover for the water tank is a bit hard to remove; it sticks a bit. And it's not so intuitive how to slide it open, but maybe that's just me. I like the magnetic charger; it's kind of cool. And the color of this model is quite nice. I also like that it has several different tips you can choose from.

Waterpik WP562CD

I recommend the Waterpik advanced water flosser to anyone interested in maintaining their teeth between dental visits. It is very well designed with the water tank fillable on the flosser or it can be removed to fill. The battery does not require charging for at least a week when used every day. The charger is magnetic and does not require plug in, just hold close and it attaches. The multiple selection of water pressure is another good feature. I prefer the medium setting. Overall the new advanced waterpik WP562CD is a great product.

Worked great, for a week or two (3-4 uses)

At first, seemed like a great deal. Worked well, lots of accessories and built well for the price. But it lost pressure, only a trickle would come out. After a couple weeks of trying to reseat it or prime it, I disassembled it to see if I could figure out what happened. Looks perfect and new on the inside, nothing out of place. Best I can tell is that the seals/valves are too cheap to seal properly. I probably just got lucky the first few times. I can get the check valves working, but something misaligns them by the time I reassemble it. I flipped the reed valve at the bottom and it squirted through the top, so my guess it's it's the precision of the rubber seals in the upper mechanism.

amazing machine

Been using my WP-562 for about a month now.Bought to replace a much older version (at least 10 years old).What a difference with the newer technology.More pressure at the high setting than the older plus the special brush tip for crowns (and plaque) works great. Per other reviews, yes the tank is smaller, but for me I just use one tankful for the outside of my teeth and another tank for the inside.The magnetically coupled charging port is fantastic as it minimizes water access to the interior (was the problem with my older unit) and the indicator gives you the amount of charge remaining.
