I bought this from my local garden centre, thinking it would be a quality item to last for a long time. The socket for the primary leg was too tight and has chewed through the aluminium of the pole.The bolts holding the lid retainer and handle cannot be tightened due to poor fit and the tool provided to tighten the bolts slips on said bolts, failing to function. Awful bit of kit considering the cost.

This item does not meet my expectation of a Weber product. The overall finish and build quality appears cheap and flimsy, the bbq literally rocks on the three lightweight legs and the materials used are thin. The air vent on the lid isn’t shaped to fit correctly meaning the vent can never be fully closed. The hinge looks great but is cumbersome and difficult to align correctly resulting in the lid rarely closing properly - very obvious when smoking. I am so far disappointed in this ‘premium’ product.

I have just set up this BBQ Master touch 5750, It really does look good however the manual could do with some wording. I have yet to actually use it but i have found that the Ashcatcher ring just keeps falling down when the one touch slider is moved across. I have revisited this part of the BBQ at least 10 times and it is still very insecure. I have a feeling that i may have to return the goods as this will be a safely hazard should it collapse whilst my grandchildren at with me and having a BBQ.Is there anyone else having the same experience as me if so has it been resolved by Weber,As far as looks go it gets a 5 but this part of the build drops it to 2 (safety Hazard)I have looked at manual and watched the Video and i am certain that instructions have been ... The grill I bought had 2 issues.1) An air intake on a bottom of a grill would not fully close. It could be easily fixed by bending a lever arm a little bit but still. Why would you need to adjust a brand new Weber BBQ?!2) A fixing hole which is used to mount stainless steel curved bar, which supports lid was out of place. It was around 5mm to high. Therefore black plastic spacer wouldn't fit.Garden centre replaced BBQ without any issues the next day. There were no issues with a replacement grill.Quality control on an assembly line needs an improvement.
Brilliant bbq have cooked on it 3 times in the first week. Tried indirect cooking and did a full chicken on it which turned out very well.Only reason for a missing star is on assembly there are three bolts to secure a lid holder to the bbq and the bolts do not tighten enough, they are really soft metal and cheap fixings. The lid holder still does its job but frustrating its loose considering this is sold as a pretty top end bbq.Cooks very well though, I do love it.
My only (slight) criticism of the product is that I had to use my own socket set to tighten up the bolts on the lid holder. That wasn't clear in the instructions.The BILT app was a fabulous additional help for the assembly - the 3D visualisations are superb.This is my third Weber - each seems to last about a decade. This one has an integrated thermometer, an improved lid holder, tool hooks on the drag handle and an enclosed ash catcher. It all looks great and I look forward to many years of use.
Easy to assemble with the app following the 3d images. Much used. Well designed, easy to maintain and store. Used the chimney to light charcoal made it so easy to fire up. Most of our meat cooked on it now, rarely use oven now. Temperature guague helps you get it cooked how you like it.Lots of adapters for pizzas, and roasting.
Premium BBQ.Assembly was straight forward using the instructions.Once put together it feels and looks like a top quality BBQ.Lid, grilling rack etc all white weight, but that’s what you expect from Weber and why it will last a long time.First cook this weekend and burgers turned out great!
Wanted to have a serious crack at BBQing as have just winged it before. All research suggested Weber was the way to go and this model suited my needs best.Took me about 30-40 mins to construct by myself, would have been quicker if I'd paid closer attention to instructions. Have cooked burgers and roasted a chicken so far. Everything seems well made and sturdy, love the ash catcher and the lid rail is very useful. Can't wait to have another go at using it.
Looks great, and is well built (sturdy). It is obviously good quality and will last for years. The bracket around the outer perimeter holds the lid well. Nice big cooking space and a small centre grate can be removed if more coals need to be added. My only gripe is once the heat has reduced little, we are having trouble toasting marshmallows as the coals are too low down. This isn't a massive issue I suppose, and we are new to charcoal grilling (as used to gas), so is all a learning curve. So far we have had burgers, sausages and chicken skewers. The flavour imparted on the chicken is second to none. Delicious! overall, very pleased with it.
