My cats prefer a more liquid gravy like texture. If their food has chunks or big pieces of meat, they will only lick the gravy off and leave the mess for me. After many many food trials the Wellness Core line came through for us in a big way, both in flavor and texture. It has been about 2-3 years now and the cats are still going strong with Wellness. Cat’s current ages are 8 and 19, so both age groups love it, which has been difficult to find something they both like. We have this on autoship so that we never run low. My only complaint is that within the last year, bones have been in the cans. Prior, zero bones had been in the food. It is a loud complaint in many reviews.

My picky Princess is eating again, and not begrudgingly, but with pleasure. A cat mom or dad knows how wonderful it feels. I've tried every top healthy food brand, and I'm ashamed to say, a few crappy choices too, just to get her to eat. I was out of choices. Then a few reviews made me try this brand that I never heard of. Praying and holding my breath I opened the can. No hesitation at all, before I could finish emptying the food, she gobbled it up. Happy Cat mom here!!

The first 3 are female and Max is our little odd dude out!! They love feeding time. Actually come running. They are all healthy, Coats are all shiny, eyes all sparkle. All are rescues. K-kay is the only one I have had since she was 6 weeks old. When people see her they always remark on how healthy her coat is. She rides in the truck well, and walks on her harness better than some dogs. she also will sit and stay, fetch and she gives kisses, so will-B-bee. See was a ferel street cat, skinny, and mean. She would eat you if she could, She loves your food, cuddles and kisses and looks fabulous. Thank you. I tried to feed my British Shorthair a ton of different wet food but this is the only one he eats. It would be great if you have dry food with an identical taste to this. What do you recommend? Thank you!
I have the fussiests cats ever! My cabinets are full of cans of cat food they refuse to eat! While waiting for #socialdistancing to end so I can donate the unused food to a local shelter, I've discovered Wellness Signature Selects. Wow! They like it! Hey, Mikey!!!! Top quality ingredients, obviously appealing flavor. I can't be happier. Cost is a lot less than buying cheaper brands they they won't eat!
Trying different foods now that my kitten is a "teenager" and can have different things. Bought this because I thought it'd be high quality and she only likes flaked seafood. This is no different than the Petco store brand, which is also brown, mushy, and something my cat won't eat. I believe it's called whole hearted or something. Anyways, there was one tiny shrimp in the can and so much "gravy" that the flaked tuna looks like brown mush. It's so off putting, as a consumer. My cat is pretty picky, but not like this. Not buying this again.
My cat absolutely loves this food! The little shrimps are his favorite part. I wish I could get him to love your dry food too, but I’m sure if you were to come out with a turkey and shrimp dry food (his favorite meats), he would gobble that up in a heartbeat! 😁 You should hear him screaming in the morning while he very impatiently waits for me to prepare his food for him. He even bounces a little bit as he watches it come out of the can. I’d post a video, but he’s camera shy. He’s 14lb and I feed him one 5.3oz can a day, but I’m having trouble figuring out how much dry food to give him as well.
My cat will eat most anything so long as there is variety day to day. However, while she at Wellness Skipjack Tuna, it all came up 5 minutes later. It looked dark and slimy when it came out of the can and I probably shouldn't have used it. The expiration was Sep 2023 and the can wasn't damaged. Just a nasty product.
I love to keep it interesting when I feed my babies, so I feed them this along with the another Wellness flavor for breakfast. They, all 4, love it! If it's nutritious and keeps them healthy and happy, then the price is all worth it.
The serious problem I had with ordering this product is with the way it comes shipped from the warehouse. The packers, for some who-knows-what reason, remove the protective plastc covering from the box, and remove the cardboard top of the box as well. The result is only the box bottom filled with 12 cans of catfood, rattling among the loosely-packed packing. I want them to LEAVE THE PROTECTIVE PLASTIC WRAP PLUS THE BOX TOP in place and I will remove it myself when it arrives at my home. For years I have ordered catfood frlm Petco and only recent!y has this been a problem. Please notify your warehouse packers that there is no need to remove the plastic wrapping nor the box top before shipping. I hope I will continue to order from Petco in the future with no ...
