Let me start by saying I have six cats and one is an extremely picky eater and usually won't eat wet food. We have tried the wellness canned food and she loves that so when I saw this I knew we needed to try it. Another win from wellness! All of my cats love it! There are so many things I love about this product I'm not sure where to start. I love the packaging as it doesn't require alot of storage space. I love that it is made with real chicken and turkey and infused with broth. It is a mouse consistency similar to the popular licking treats. The portion size it perfect at 1.4 oz. It is grain free. And my favorite thing about it is that even my pickiest eater loves it. Thank you wellness! Highly recommend!

The packaging is very cute. Scent smells like cat food, ha! The texture seems normal for usual cat wet food. The packaging says it has real chicken ingredient at least two times. Also says no added artificial flavors, preservatives or colors. Carrageenan free! It's supposed to support: sustained energy, highly digestible, healthy skin and coat, immune health and healthy teeth and bones. Feeding instructions are according to age, size and activity of your cat. Room temperature. Feed 4-4 1/2 pouches per 6 to 8lbs of body weight per day. Seems excessive. I'd buy this again but not feed as instructed. My cat usually eats dry food. I was sent this product for free from both Influenster and Wellness pet in exchange for my honest review.

Cat Approved! Wish a pouch was 1 serving though

We usually feed our cat Wellness brand turkey dinner smooth loaf pate, but he's been a little fussy lately so we wanted to try something new. He also has a sensitive stomach/kitty IBS so we picked this flavor because the ingredients are almost identical to the pate. Even though it's very similar, our cat LOVED this. He licked the bowl clean after leaving food scraps in the dish for weeks. Just wish the package servings made more sense; he's big enough to need 1.5 to 2 pouches per meal, and that's quite pricey. We may get this occasionally when he's being picky since it seems to agree with him.

Mixed Reaction by the Cats

The mousse cat food smelled really good to me, but was difficult to get out of the packet, especially since I was not giving the whole thing to one cat. I gave a small amount to all seven of my cats, but only four of them would eat it. I tried feeding it a second time a couple of days later and put out more per cat, so used two more packets. Again, some of the cats wouldn't touch it and even some of the ones who ate some, left some behind. Luckily our dogs loved it and cleaned up all the uneaten food. Perhaps a different flavor would have gone over better with the cats, but who knows. Cats are finicky and don't always take to new foods. Thank goodness the dogs liked it, so there wasn't any waste.
