The whole weruva range has lower phosphate content, usually below 1.0, as they remove the bones before cooking. I've also bought other flavours and my two seniors with CKD love all of them.

My kitty LOVES steak frites. He licks the bowl spotlessly clean, which he has never done with any other food. Ever. A bit pricey, but it was worth it to see him enjoy his food so much.

I am using this instead of the prescription kidney diet based on low phosphorus and sodium. I was surprised my 17 year old cat actually liked it (she generally shuns any pieces of non-meat), even more than tuna.
My 17 year old cat has IBD, hyperthyroidism, and most recently kidney disease. In searching for a kidney-friendly diet, we have tried, literally, over a dozen foods in the past several months. It has been an expensive, and weight-losing journey. It has only been a few days, but he is very happily eating this food. No vomiting. He doesn’t cry constantly. He’s sleeping through the night again. I’m even weaning him off the appetite stimulant the vet prescribed. He does tend to eat around the pumpkin chunks, but I’m so happy that he’s eating at all, I don’t mind.
