try to apply a second coat, it starts to scrub off the first layer. But you try anyway because you're already this far in. So after 30 seconds or a minute of not touching your face
you spray yourself in the face with a sickly sweet alcohol spray, which they say if it drips down your face you've sprayed too much, but literally half a pump did that for me

This lip stain works as advertised - stays on for hours, even after eating, even after brushing teeth! And beautiful colors (I have 3.) As noted in the instructions, definitely worth exfoliating before applying. Also: the product is rather thick and a bit of a challenge to apply evenly, which can result in an uneven stain. Not a problem for softer colors like Beautiful (which is a lovely soft pink), but I can imagine could be an issue for bolder colors. In addition, as it wears off (yes, hours after application) the lip stain can wear off unevenly. Again for softer colors, not much of a problem but could be more noticeable for bolder colors. Finally: the process of peeling off the product during application can leave stains on your fingers! Those wear off pretty ... So you scrub that off once the alcohol has done its job, at which point you mostly look like you just ate a red popsicle. It's not a very solid stain, it lasted for maybe 40 minutes for me, and it was incredible gross to deal with.So no, don't do it, it's gross and doesn't work, and is THIRTY DOLLARS.

I was very hopeful about this product, but it didn't live up to expectations. I ordered two colours, Charming, the shade closest to my usual lipstick colour, and Divine, a darkish red. The first thing I noticed when I wiped my lips after carefully following the instructions was that the colour hardly showed. I had to apply two coats to see it. During the application I felt my lips tingling, which made me a little concerned because I have sensitive skin. I felt that the product dried my lips out, inspite of applying my usual lip balm on top.The product did not stain my teeth or napkins/clothing, which is a definite plus point. But it stayed on for only about three hours, without eating or drinking anything. It's a pity because it could have been a real game-changer, ... I have purchased 7 colors in the peel & reveal and one color (Bella) in both the peel & reveal as well as the wipe off masque. Well, 7 of those 8 colors work perfectly as intended and let me be completely honest, I love them, they’re all nice colors and they stay literally all day long. However, I’m not sure where they went wrong BUT the color Bella in both the wipe off and peel and reveal is just bad and not of the same quality. The color, itself, would be lovely if it actually stained properly. The wipe off version bleeds all over in all the cracks of your lips and seems to be a super diluted version. The peel and reveal version does EXACTLY the same thing and is NOTHING like the other 7 colors I have… the proof is in the pudding! See the pics I attached of the ... Fabulous product, some colours misleading!I purchased charming toffee rose and playful burnt berry.Whilst charming was accurately pictured, playful pictured as a warm red is significantly cooler and almost a wine/mulberry tone.Although it is pretty, as a red head I was hoping for the rusty red that was pictured.I am a pale neutral skin tone and photographed it with no make up to show true Tone.The holographic lip gloss is stunning. Blue and purple metallic pigments create an amazing finish, however this only adds to the cool affect and deepens the colour further as you can see in the image.I will use this over pink colours or on its own instead.It has a beautiful moisturising silk finish with a subtle vanilla flavour.As a hair stylist I talk ALOT, colour ... It’s very easy to use, and the results are amazing. I can control how intense the final look is, and it doesn’t dry out my lips. Even with my not-so-steady hand, the application doesn’t look patchy. Without the Activator, the result is slightly less long-lasting, but I love the natural look and the fact that it truly doesn’t transfer – no marks on glasses or anywhere else. The only place that lasts is just around the lips where the face’s skin is, and with the stronger colours a bit on the lower lip cushions.I have 3 colours, 1 light and the 2 strongest. When freshly applied, the colours are nice but by no way opaque or vibrant, it’s indeed just a taint.After 2h, less if I eat, it’s basically gone, it looks like any other lipstick after a meal. Every lipstick shade would look different on different skin so you can really trust the images. It won’t fade if you leave it and not lick your lips but when you eat and lick your lips it will start to fade and leave an uneven colour. The activator does not make the lipstick peel off easily like advertised. Although I tried the exact same steps I struggled so hard to peel it off and I got anger issues. I’d stiffest just buying their normal lip stains as it’s way easier and has the same results, and cheaper. It took my shopping to Australia 3 weeks too due to “unexpected stock delays” which Is disappointing.Overall not worth ... There was an offer on at the time of purchasing, and I ended up buying 3 shades, and the activator.One of the shades doesn't have a colour example sticker on the end, and the stickers on the other two are nothing like the shades shown online, but the names match the ones I ordered.The stain is immediately patchy, parts of my lips looked lighter in areas, even with applying it evenly, & leaving it on for the time specified.
