Convenient and easy to use. This product was easy to find on the shelf alongside other gravies and sauces. The price point is comparable with other brands. It is made in Australia using at least 89% of Australian ingredients, and has no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. I never have gravy on chips, so used it as a gravy for roast chicken. I heated it in the microwave for a minute, and it was nice and hot. It was smooth and thick, but maybe a bit herby for me. Hubby put some on his roast potatoes and said it was nice. I would buy in the future, and thank Woolies and bunch for this sample.

Not my choice. I obtained this prior to our recycling issues. Even then I knew I was only sampling it in order to criticise the packaging. Despite the fact that it was recyclable at that point, it is a completely unnecessary use of plastic packaging, and now has to be placed in landfill !It has a considerable amount of salt - I guess thats why it only has 3 stars (products over 400 mgm/100 gm should be avoided. The recommended figure is 120 mgm/100 gm. So - ouch !I am single, so found this product completely impractical for me. I also don't like heating precooked items in my microwave, I prefer cooking from scratch. The herby notes were interesting. I never put gravy on my crisp and crunchy chips; I use it on veggies. and roasts. Thanks Woollies for the opportunity ... MoreNot my choice. I obtained this prior to our recycling issues. At least it is made in Australia.

Better Than The Rest. So whilst not perfect........ certainly better than any others I have tried

Gravy-licious. I quite like this gravy. It does give my bland food a lift in flavour. The taste reminds me of the seasoning on Woolies' Roast Chicken. Let's just say it's a familiar taste and I like it. Made potato salad for lunch today and added the gravy on the pile of mashed up potatoes. T'was an instant flavour hit. Even my mum liked it. She said it reminds her of KFC gravy, which we both really like. Able to taste the herbs used in the gravy - think there's definitely thyme. I like that it can be eaten straight from the pouch, no mixing or stirring required. The gravy is smooth and thick. I would certainly buy it again, if not for the steep price of $4 for a small pouch. I would buy a pouch if I was entertaining.

Expensive convenience product. I love gravy. I have been known to eat with a straw. So was looking forward to this sample. It was easily found in the gravy aisle. The packaging was simple and to the point also easy to use. Heated well in the microwave. We did have this on chips. I never cook my own chip and I don't fry at home so were takeaway chips. It was of a great consistency. Not too runny and not too thick. The flavour was a lot like chicken gravy. It had a good depth of flavour. We did enjoy but the price put me off. Terrible value. I will stick with powdered and add pan juices from roasts when I cook them. Great convenience product if your prepared to pay the price. But too overpriced for us to have regularly.

Quick and convenient. Our family had this with skinless chicken legs and chips. The person who tried it on their chips thought it was a bit bland. I’m not into putting anything on my chips and thought this gravy was ideal on my chicken and would also be good with lamb or beef, especially roasted meat. I thought it was quite tasty and had very good consistency. Although I think it is a bit expensive, I would use it for convenience at Christmas or other times instead of standing making gravy from scratch and stirring it on the stove top as this pack takes a lot less time. I also think it would be great for on the road/caravan travelling.

Surprisingly Tasty. This was a surprise in a packet. Expected it to be tasteless & bland but it was the complete opposite. Had it on chicken & chips which worked perfectly. The packet I received had exactly the correct consistency after heating, the right amount of flavouring for eating with not only chips but anything you want quick & easy gravy for. Disappointed a little in quantity versus price and for a family of 4 it would be only 1 small serve each. However it's convenient & fast. I won't be adding this to my shopping list however as I feel it's too expensive to buy on the weekly shopping trip.

Doesn't taste like a classic chip gravy. Honestly having tried both this and the chicken flavoured version, both don't add anything to the meal. The flavour of both gravies is way too herb forward, leaning towards a strong taste of thyme. I think they could get rid of the chicken gravy entirely and replace it with this one because they taste pretty similar, with the chip one only being slightly more enjoyable due to the herb flavour being less pronounced. Overall my family and I really disliked this product and found it didn't taste anything like a classic chip gravy. There is much better tasting, richer gravies at cheaper price points so I really don't see why I would purchase this again. I guess one star for the convenience at best.

A bit expensive for what it is.... I got this product as a sample. Not something I would normally be attracted to, as I don't like my nice crispy chips sogged with gravy. The colour made me think it would be good with chicken. It was okay. I would probably have gone one star higher except for the RRP which I think was $4 which is OTT for 220g of gravy in my opinion. It was a simple gravy with no wow factor, suitable for vegetarians I noted for no particular reason as I am not vegetarian. To be honest I recently have dabbled in pre-made gravies looking at the convenience factor and there are better ones out there. Thanks WW for the opportunity to try this sample. If it was maybe $2. 50 I'd think about it but even then would add something to give it more interest.

A great topper for chips! I easily found this in store and my Grandkids were very happy with the name of the product. They effortlessly convinced me that hot chips were in order for their afternoon snack so the taste test was on. The gravy was super easy to prepare - the microwave took care of the heating required and the kids eagerly tipped it all over the chips as they came out of the oven. The kids ate it all and were most impressed with their snack. They all agreed that the gravy was a great topper for hot chips and stated they were going to look for it in store and throw it in the trolley when their parents were distracted Unfortunately I did not get to try it, but I trust given zero product left, that it was in fact a great accompaniment for hot chips!
