Quick and convenient. For the price and convenience, this is a great option if you're needing gravy. Microwaves in 60 seconds. Has a light beef flavour and went well with roast beef and vegetables. I added some chopped rosemary for extra flavour and was really yummy. The gravy is smooth and not overly salty either. Bonus points for being Australian made too!One improvement I would make would be to the consistency. I personally prefer gravy to be slightly thicker and when heated up this was very runny.

Necessary luxury. My life changed the day i discovered ready made gravy. My gravy making was always so inconsistent no matter how very hard I tried. In the end I was using a milk frother, which helped my gravy making but the clean up was terrible. Now I’m never without a ready made gravy in the cupboard. I am normally more economically conservative, but this will always be a stable in this house. We are gravy lovers in this house. Liked the bigger serving size than the brand name. Not quiet as smooth but personal taste. Not bad, larger serve and cheaper. I’m not saying no.

Convenient but bland. Flavour - No depth of flavour, was just salty. I prefer gravy with a richer flavour and more depth. Texture - Good consistency, not too thick or thin and very smooth. Price - At $4 a bag, it is quite pricey. It was convenient but not tasty enough to warrant this price. Serving - Cooked up some mushrooms and added this gravy on top of steak. Packaging - Not easy to pour out of the bag and got messy. Overall, the flavour was bland and packaging was not user friendly. It's convenient for those that don't have time to whip up their own gravy. Wouldn't buy again but thanks Bunch for the sample!

Not very good. I'm a huge maggi powdered gravy fan so I kind of have a favourite when it comes to gravy. The price was $3. 50, which seems excessive for the small amount of gravy in the pouch and being an own name brand. The gravox version was on sale for 50c cheaper at the time. The consistency was a bit watery, thin for my liking. I found the flavour really odd, not like beef but really herby. The herb flavour was overpowering. So overall, it was a fail for me and won't be purchasing this gravy in the future. Sorry.
Thick. So quick and convenient. Was very tasty. We have a roast every Saturday night for dinner. I can never get my gravy made with powder right it is either too thick or too runny. I find the liquid gravies you normally buy a little on the runny side and I do like my gravy thicker so it stays on the food. The consistency of this gravy was very much to my liking. I will buy again as I buy once a week now but definitely changing brands, from a brand name to this ww brand. Price is pretty reasonable too. Winner Winner roast dinner!
Where do I start. So first things first. It can't get much quicker. Rip the corner off, microwave for 60 seconds and pour on the food. Tasted nice for what it was. Was a little runny for my liking, didn't give me the ability to adjust like I can with powdered gravy. And also had quite some leftovers. I don't feel like powdered gravy is any less convenient and is actually more versatile, As we add powdered gravy to the slow cooker juices and makes some great flavours. Made in Australia and with 89%+ Australian ingredients. Tldr:Flavours ok, it's quick and easy. Some Wastage and throwing away more plastic. Better options out there.
Not better and more expensive that other brands. I am loyal to another name brand so I am comparing quite criticallyDesign:-The name brand has a spout that can have a more controlled pour and can be used as is without having to use a seperate gravy boat. Secondly, it has a thick part on the side that you can hold without burning your fingers holding the packet. - Woolies brand - Opens fully from both sides so prone to spilling and would need a seperate gravy boat to avoid messes and transfer from person to person at the dinner table. The whole packet gets hot so hard to pour. Taste: BlandPrice: The name brand is cheaperOverall: Will not buy as a replacement for my regular one
Not for me. A convenient way to have gravy, this comes in a plastic pouch that can be heated directly in the microwave. That being said, I'm not big on store bought gravy, even the powdered ones are a bit bleh. The flavour of this is just not for me, I found it oddly sweet but also too salty? Yes making your own gravy can be a hassle but at least you know what's going in it, and you're able to use actual meat juices etc. The ingredients in this gravy is a little suspect. Also it's a bit steep at $3. 50 a pouch... it is just gravy afterall. Wouldn't purchase again, but I appreciate the convenience factor. Thank you Bunch for the sample!
On the sauce. A 200 grams of beef flavoured gravy in a clear brown packaging for 4 serves. Cut the corner of the package and 60 seconds in the microwave or simmer on the stove. We had a roast beef with mashed potato and veggies for our meal. It was strong in aroma when opened was a little running and not thick. Does not have that great flavour, consistently salty and bland. French chef Manu Feildel would have eliminated a contestant if he tasted this. No, no I think you got this all wrong. Therefore I am scoring you a two. The chef motto is: always taste before you serve. Had a 3 star health rating with only 89% Australian ingredients. Packaging was recycle in store at Woolworths green bin.
Convenient, lacking flavour. It looks nice, and the gravy is smooth, however the flavour is too mild, which is interesting compared to other reviews. I had with oven chips and sausages. More of the potato flavour came through from a gravy soaked chip. Compared to some other brands, it was nice as it didn't have that vinegary flavour, however for a rich beef gravy, it does miss the mark. I tried the gravy on its own, and you can taste more of the corn starch then the other flavouring. I thought the size was reasonable, though due to the flavour, I would not get this one again.
