I'm not usually a fan of gourmand fragrances, but I've been trying to be more open-minded lately-I just draw the line at smelling like a cupcake.The YSL Black Opium Glitter feels like a good starting point for me. It's sweet, but not too overpowering. The marshmallow musk and vanilla notes are sweet but not like a baked good kind of sweet.The most noticeable notes on my skin are the musky sweetness of the marshmallow and vanilla. The bottle has a glittery texture, but there's no glitter transfer if you wondered about that.I will definitely purchase this in the future! The way it dries down on my skin makes me feel so sultry and confident and curious to try more gourmands.My only negative comment is that this perfume almost took me out when I first used it (again, user error), but I figure that's a good problem to have if you want the most bang for your buck. Even if you don't love this perfume, it's a good one to layer and is very elegant in its scent without being overpowering. Just be aware when you spray it (especially the first time) it's so strong that you may not like it to begin with, let it dry and then start smelling it.
