CeraVe Skin Renewing, Gel Oil - 1 fl oz

I’m obsessed with the CeraVe line of products. Everything I’ve used does exactly what it says it does. This particular product was my first introduction to CeraVe and it was recommended to me by my Dermatologist. I bought my first bottle from his office for almost twice what I paid here on Amazon. Within weeks I started to notice a difference. I am 59, have inherited fairly resilient skin but still have fine lines on my brow, around my eyes and where I smile. A little goes a long way

I bought this in the hopes it would eliminate my dry/flaky patches around the creases of my nose that no moisturizer has ever totally worked for me. This 100% worked for me. I use this as my first step after washing my face. I use to have dry, textured facial skin but not anymore. My face feels so soft now (like during my younger years). I prefer to use products like tinted sunscreens, tinted moisturizers or light to medium coverage foundations. This Oil/Serum goes on first before the above mentioned products and my skin looks natural and almost flawless. I have been given so many compliments on my skin since adding this to my routine. This will always be forever on my small list of "must haves".

Game changer!

Wow! So glad I found this! I use a strong prescription type of retinol cream that always left me peeling for days. I read another review about using this with it with retinol creams so I gave it try. Amazing! No more peeling and I find I don’t need as much retinol to cover my face. This whole line is phenomenal. Through the years I’ve tried many skin care lines and thought that any decent anti-aging products could only come with high end prices. Not true! I can purchase CeraVe’s entire anti-aging line for the cost of my former night cream and my skin looks better now.

Important Part of My Skincare Routine

Love this product! I hope Cerave never discontinues this one! After using Cerave's Hydrating Facial Cleanser, I mix together Cerave Daily Moisturizing Lotion with a bit of L'Oreal Revitalift Hyaluronic Acid Serum. After that absorbs, I use less than a pea-sized amount of the Cerave Skin Renewing Gel Oil. (A little goes a long way!) It gives the perfect glow and my skin feels ultra moisturized all day. This gel oil has already made a difference in my skin care routine's effectiveness. It has absolutely improved the hydration of my skin and fine lines around my eyes are looking less noticeable. What's not to like? (BTW, I have sensitive skin and zero issues for me.) If you don't want to pair this with your makeup, you can always just use this before bed for its ... MoreLove this product! My new favorite moisturizer!!!

I absolutely adore this moisturizer. I bought it to use with Gua Sha and it's wonderful for that. I've also used it with my nuface. But this has replacement almost my entire routine and has made more difference in my skin in a short time than anything else has that I've used for a long time. It makes my skin look so healthy and beautiful. I don't find it greasy once it's absorbed. A little does a long way. My forehead wrinkles have been my nemesis for years and seriously in just a couple weeks I see a huge difference bc it's such great hydration for my skin!!! Definitely definitely recommend!!!!!

Nice facial oil moisturizer

I purchased this item on a whim. I have been using an argan oil product that is expensive and thought I would alternate with this brand. I mainly use it on my neck for extra moisture due to eczema flare-ups and dry skin. It is still moderately expensive but the product works well and has caused no break outs or skin sensitivity for me. I prefer using the other brand because of its texture and results but I found Cerave to be a solid performer in my skincare routine. It works for my intended use and I would purchase this item again.

Seems like a good moisterizer; expensive though

This is my first time using this product. I usually buy the Cera Ve Skin Renewing Night Cream, but it was out of stock at our two closest stores. My 20% off coupon was due to expire the day of my visit to CVS, so I bought this gel oil moisturizer as a substitute. I use it on my neck and chest. It seems to do a good job of moisturizing; a suitable temporary substitute for my regular moisturizer. However, it's more expensive than my regular moisturizer. The gel oil is $30.99, about $5 or so more than the Cera Ve Renewing Night Cream. So, I'll still go back to the Renewing Night Cream for future use; it does a fine job. Without the 20% off coupon for the gel oil, I'm not sure I would have bought it. Good product, but costly for just 1 oz. of oil.

The First Facial Oil That Works For Me

I normally can't use facial oils because I get breakouts no matter what, at age 62 no less. Plus, I don't like the oily sensation many leave behind. This facial oil is so different. A little does go a long way and while there is that initial "slippery" feel, the oil seems to absorb quickly, leaving my skin feeling soft and hydrated. I use this instead of a moisturizer layered over whatever serum I've applied, both day and night. At night, though, I do need to apply it enough time before bed so it has a chance to sink in and not let my pillowcase absorb it instead.

Total skincare workhorse

I've been using this product for years and keep going back to it. There's just something so useful about a face oil with only a few ingredients, especially for sensitive skin. It does everything an oil is supposed to do and I use it for everything. I add it to my moisturizer when I want a little more oomph, I apply it directly to my face after my weekly exfoliation as a skin soother, I use it on my cuticles, I use it on my heels, I use it as a scar cream, I use it on the ends of my hair... it's such a workhorse. I love that, because it's a gel, it never leaks out of the package so it's never messy. It never breaks me out or flares my sensitive skin. A bottle lasts forever. Ugh, so many good things to say about this product.
