She is a massive Dr.Martens fan and has multiple versions of your boots.All different coloursThese boots, when I saw them, I was a little in shockThe quality of the leather is astounding and I actually asked my wife if they were real leatherI honestly donāt think Iāve seen a leather like it. So smooth, perfect in fact.Iām considering getting some for myself now as Iāve seen from my wives boots the souls are pretty i indestructible and I wear through the souls of my non Dr.Martens boots really quick

After years of thinking about a pair of DMās I was walking past the Brighton store, called in and bought a some! I wore them for a couple of hours and then went back to our caravan where we were on holiday. I left the boots in our awning, along with my other shoes etc but to my horror the next morning I found that my new boots had been chewed by a fox! I felt physically sickened. The boots were badly damaged but wearable, just. Still feeling bad I phoned the shop to see if they had another pair in stock but unfortunately they didnāt and suggested I order online. I placed an order and received my second pair a few days later. I am very happy with the comfort and quality of my DM boots but still saddened about my initial experience.

Superb quality boot in classic aggressive but classy styling. Absolutely essential to invest a lot of time before wearing in drenching the leather in leather softening cream/balm and working it in with deep finger/hand massage. I read a lot of horror stories about blisters but had no trouble whatsoever due to the preparation and gradual acclimatisation of the feet to the boots. With this method they were ready for lengthy walks within a week.

I have several pairs of DM's (three 1460, two pairs Chelsea boot style and a pair of Geraldo sandals). After a few days of breaking them in they are the most comfortable and hard wearing shoes that I have ever owned.In the past I have bought other makes however, it is a false economy. They do not last very long and I end up buying another pair.This particular pair are navy blue. I bought a a pair of blue DM laces to go with them. They look and feel stunning.
I own eight pairs of 1460s purchased over the last five years spending a lot of money on shoes I used to enjoy. However; of the last three pairs I bought: one of Made in England Ox-blood size 8 UK 9 US was small and hurts to wear. This latest 1460 Blue smooth was also too small and the over-arch extremely tight. My size has not changed and six of the pairs I bought continue to fit. I am very unhappy and will look for other shoes to buy. Especially the 1460 Ox-blood Made in England which cost me over $200. Quality has gone down. My most recent purchase also had a divot in the toe.
Meh.Iāll keep them, as Iām sure theyāll be handy at some point. But on first impressions I donāt see what the big deal is. Lovely colour though.They seem to made for people with massive ankles too, as the actual boots fit my feet, but are very baggy and overlapping around my ankle/calf area. And I donāt have ridiculously skinny legs or anything either.
I watch the documentary recently aired with Greg Wallace at your factory, with all Dr Martens made at your UK based factory finished all by hand. This persuaded me to buy my first pair. I enjoyed watching all the different steps as to how Dr Martens are made but was disappointed when my new boots arrived with a āmade in Bangladeshiā stamped on the inside. I bought my first pair because I enjoyed watching the boots being made here in the UK. Was the documentary just for show? With most boots being made abroad?
Really smart looking, had lots of compliments on the look.Comfortable too, just slightly stiff around the ankles at first but fine after a few wears.Very slightly on the large side, but with thick socks itās fine. Might go down 1/2 a size next time.Wouldnāt hesitate to buy more, just canāt decide on which colour to go for next!

Love these, they're so unusual. The navy is really dark, almost black but in the light it's a definite navy.I am a 6 or a 7 as I have wide feet, so I bought the 6 and a 6.5. The 6 were the best fit.I have many pairs of docs, these are my first lace ups. Lovely, quality boots. I've bought the green laces to go in them, they look amazing.
