Excellent Crafting Tool! It does what it claims to do and more. It has really helped me get through these challenging times mainly at home alone! However; the Curbside Pickup at my HD Royally Blows Hard!!! What a Joke! And the In Store Customer Service is Seriously Lacking! We Are All Suffering Together during this time. And to get Attitude from the Staff there (Who ARE WORKING) Really puts a Damper on my One Time per Week that I leave my House per week!! Improve the Curbside Pickup AND the Customer Service in General (as in; Wake Up and put in a CS Program coming out of Covid!) and Maaaaaybeee this would’ve been a better review about the Dremel Stylo Craft Tool!?!

This little Gem of a tool Dremel provided is what you would expect from Dremel. Quality of finish and powerful in performance for tasks it is designed for. The Stylo + is designed for light handed work allowing the burr to do the work creating fine details in your projects. This tool definitely has a place in your toolbox for special applications in creating your art.

I bought this to grind down my dog's nails. This machine is so quiet it makes an electric toothbrush seem loud, even on the highest speed, it is nearly silent on the lowest speed. I learned that this tool has a wonderful safety feature if anything gets caught in it (My hair for example LOL) it doesn't pull at all, it instantly stops with a small beep. Excellent in case if your dog has long toe hair, it won't hurt your dog at all. My dogs have never seen a dremel type tool before, and are typically nervous nellies when it comes to noises. This is so quiet, I was able to begin dremeling their nails in under a minute with no issues. I bought this dremel with the Hope's of starting carving. I love it. Is is small and fits in my hand, but is plenty powerful if you dont press too hard and force it. It is fairly quiet for a dremel, so it makes it easier to work for longer without getting annoying. I am happy I got this little tool. So many bits to chose from for any kind of carving I want to do. I am happy with my purchase! Just make sure you dont force it or push too hard cause it can cause it to get warm and bog down. Other than that it is great!
This a wonderful little rotary tool. It's quite small making it easy to hold for precision work. You need a light hand while using it as it will stall out with too much pressure. It's perfect for delicate craft work like model ship building etc. I bought the Dremel drill chuck also to use different size drill bits (should have come with that feature). If your looking for something to cut sheet metal, this would be under powered. Very happy, would recommend for light precise work.
Nifty device that is easily operated and maneuvered, even in smaller hands. The grip has a very nice feel and it is fairly lightweight. Has powerful motor that runs smoothly and quietly. Make sure that any fittings/attachments are properly centered, sometimes it helps to rotate the fitting a bit if the machine is wobbling or vibrating. The only problematic issue is that the POWER/ON button is directly opposite the UNLOCK button and sometimes when trying to turn the device OFF, you can accidentally squeeze the UNLOCK button while it is running. (Which wears down the motor and chuck) It would've be great to get the same experience with a cordless, but the cord hasn't been a hassle. I needed a small rotary tool for my wife to use to do detail work on cast resin jewelry. It obviously needed to be variable speed, but also small and light enough to accommodate the weakness in her arms. The flex shaft tools are expensive, require maintenance that she wouldn't want to deal with, and this little guy was a great compromise. It's not a heavy duty operation and the tool wouldn't be up to much more than she's doing, but it fits every one of her needs perfectly. Need a little rotary for some light craft work? My nail drill died. While looking for a new one, I read reviews that were terrible. I have Dremels that I have used for years, without fail. Off to my local Lowes !?!? Yes ! This looks perfect ! It worked fantastic. Has variable speeds. I'll never buy a nail drill again !!
YOu would not believe the reason I bought this thing, but im gonna tell ya! So because of the pandemic i have not been able to get my bi weekly pedicures. So my gel toe nail polish is stuck to my toenails like glue, well whats left of it anyway. I mean mu toes looked like they’ve been chewed on ( lol). So while strolling the tool section find this thin that looks like what they use at the nail salon to get off the polish, so i buy it, take it home and wouldnt ya know it works like a charm. Not only have i gotten the polish off of my nails but ive also monogrammed some jewel and did some beautiful etch work on my bathroom cabinet. Buy it, you wont be disapointed!
