This is a great cross blade shredder- I had a bit of shredding to do and thisMachine powers through the work. I removed staples before shredding & it does like a rest after 2 minutes as per instructions- as well as oiling the moving parts after each bin fills up. Now that I’ve got caught up with the work of shredding stuff I have no problem with waiting to go again. Little & often is no issue. Do buy the oil.

I wanted a good robust home shredder that gave excellent security. I have jammed it twice, once for over oiling and another for not checking that the waste container was full.I am very happy with this product and would recommend it

My old shredder which I have had for over15 years gave up the ghost and after a bit of research and a low budget, I went for this Fellowes one. Couldn't be happier with it, works a treat, is quiet and even though it doesn't take as many sheets as my last one, it does the job I need it to. Really wanted one with the option to shred credit cards too and this fits the bill perfectly. Only had it a couple of months, but very happy so far with it and would definitely recommend for personal use and if you work from home in your small office.
First shredder purchased and performs well over past 3 weeks. Also bought recommended oil and have no complaints for the price. Only con is there is no drawer to slide out when emptying bin.
Super impressed with this little shredder I've had for a few weeks now. You can run really thick paper through it, and cards, and it shreds like a champ. Doesn't take up much room at all and does the job needed. Very happy with this product.
Having had another brand of shredder that was a dream to use I was gutted when it finally died. Needing a replacement I went for this model and within a matter of a few months it crashed & Burned. Paper jammed monotonously even with 2-3 pages being guided in to machine. Totally impossible to retrieve paper jam without destroying machine. Do NOT recommend. Sorry Mighty Ape this product does not stack up to your usual quality.
Literally After Few To Couple Shreds and Jams Later, Now It Won't Work at All! Couldn't Even Handle a Single Peace of Paper. Spread Nearly $100 on This and Now I'm Livid Because Now I'm Gonna Have To Buy Another One. Buyer's Beware, Do Not Buy This
