I tested this shampoo alongside the entire Première Decalcifying & Repairing pre-treatment and conditioner. From the first use, I found that the product worked well to soften and add shine to my hair. This is the first decalcifying/clarifying shampoo I have found that has been so effective at removing built-up hard water and excess calcium that and is so gentle on my hair and scalp. I found that the shampoo emulsified and lathered well into my hair, and also had a pleasant citrus/floral scent.I found the shampoo to be quite moisturising which was lovely at first, although I found that it unfortunately worked against my fine, high-density, curly/wavy (2B-3A) hair once it was dried. I’ve honestly never had healthier, stronger or shinier hair than I do now. I have blonde hair (natural blonde but currently with blonde dye in it to get it back from the last time I went dark), and my hair is usually brittle and dead from previous bleaching. Not overpowering but a fresh and salon type smell. I love it.I would definitely recommend using this - it will only do your hair a world of favours, however the price tag is the only thing that would discourage me. But if you can afford it, do it. Having to unscrew the cap, find somewhere to set it down in the shower, and then struggle to screw it back on with wet hands is inconvenient. While the packaging itself looks sleek and fancy, it’s not practical. I wish the cap was either attached or designed differently to make it easier to use.The product has a thicker consistency than the pre-shampoo, which I appreciated, but it doesn’t lather easily unless you use a generous amount.
