A 3/4 length version of the original is perfect for ounce counters and shorter campers. Sometimes, a full-length pad simply isnt necessary to get the job done. The Static V Junior is virtually identical to the original Static V - including V-Chambers and dynamic side rails for greater comfort - but it measures almost two feet shorter for those who dont need the extra length. This pad is especially popular among ultralight campers and Scouts.

First time buying a 'light weight' air mattress in just over a generation and 1/2. Got it this winter and have not gone out yet. But it is true to advertised specs. I am 61, no atelete, and 10-15 breathes is correct. Still, at just over a POUND, it does great honor to ancestors that weight three times its weight.

I recently returned from a four day backcountry backpacking trip in Montana. This pad was my saving grace. I'm a side sleeper and that does not always bode well for sleeping on the ground for several days. This pad was super comfortable for both side and back sleeping. Very light weight and compact for backpacking. I highly recommend this product.

For starters this is very comfy. It fully inflates with just 10 breaths. Packs small, and doesn't seem to slip. The valve is a little tricky at first trying to figure out how to lock it. I used this down to 32 degrees sleeping directly on the ground and was warm, but wouldn't recommend going too far below that unless you've got extra insulation. Overall, highly recommended.

Can't beat the value of this pad. I bought it when I first started out read a handful of reviews to make sure this is what I wanted. It packs small (8'' long, 4'' diameter), is light (1lb 2 oz), and is really affordable. You'd pay at least double for something from one of the other brands for the same features. It keeps me warm down to about the low 40s, before I feel any coolness from below. At that temp range, either bring a foam pad to supplement or use another pad altogether.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w6IjXvEMOHI
I used this for the first time on a 4 day camping trip and it worked perfectly. Never lost air once - always at the same pressure to which it was initially inflated. It was very comfortable never letting my hips touch bottom. I did not purchase the insulated version so for this trip I put the pad inside the sleeping bag because the temperature dropped to 30 at night. Was not a problem.
after looking around this was the best buy for the money I wanted to spend. I used a foam pad most of my life and I was uneasy dropping 100$ plus on something to sleep on. I glad I bought it and it works well and it's not too heavy. I wish I got a shorter one the regular is long for me (6'3") I only need one that goes down to my knees. But again good buy
I've gone through two thermarest neoair's, which I like except for the susceptibility to puncture. Got this pad at a great price, and so for (3 multi day trips) I really like it. It's a bit heavier, but also much sturdier. It's also easy to inflate with a dozen breaths, and is warm and comfortable. Perfect size for a 6 foot guy with wide shoulders. Only minor quibble -- a small amount of air tends to get trapped in the baffles when rolling up the pad, which is a tiny bit frustrating when I'm chomping at the bit to get back on the trail.
I haven't field tested yet, though from laying on it for an extended period around the house it is of quality build. I've only used closed-cell in the past so first impression is a definite upgrade. It only weighs slightly more and provides much more comfort for side sleepers. I never have bottomed out and it has not leaked air. Can't wait to try out on my next weekender.
Loved this thing out of the package. Lightweight, extremely packable, and once inflated, very comfy. Side sleeper here, and my foam pad wasn't enough for my hip bones. With the addition of this on top, my sleeping situation is now great. There is one thing leaving this from being a 5 star product, and that is the inflation valve. It is a bit tricky to get that last bit of air pressure inside whil
you know hiking for a day or weeks at a time it's hard to find soft ground. No rocks, Roots, we have several sleep pads and some work better than others but find one that packs small, light, cost, and you can sleep on your side. well this is it. My son always said dad this would a better trip if I can roll over and sleep on my side. purchased one to try outstanding order another when we got back.
