Update on my previous review: Wife still happy with Mac knife, doesn't have any complaints. Me? Complaints? I touched the knife's edge and its still same as when it arrived new! It's now November and I still haven't had the need to sharpen the knife. I have a DMT diamond sharpener (from everten too) and a shapton 4000 grit ready and waiting. But seems a long wait...

Mac knife - ever so sharp. Wife's been using knife for the past two weeks and she's very happy. Very light but sturdy and retains sharpness. No more knife related complaints from the kitchen queen!

amazing knife wasn't sure whether to go for this or the MTH but I'm glad I chose this it's the perfect weight for me and easy to sharpen and maintain
I was looking for a good quality knife as I had heard that's one of the best things you can have in the kitchen. After asking Everten customer service they came up with this one and it meets all my criteria. It's light, cuts much better than my Anolon set I have and makes meal prep much more pleasant.
fantastic knife. made my global seem dull, even based on a new v's new comparison. holding its edge really well though we are treating it very nicely. at $100 it was well worth it as it made cooking alot more fun.
