The Neostrata Ultra Brightening Cleanser is meant to exfoliate and help target uneven skin tone. I was so excited to try this cleanser, but found that it didn’t do anything for my skin tone. I received Neostrata Ultra Brightening Cleanser free from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. Neostrata Ultra Brightening Cleanser rids your skin of all makeup and impurities. I noticed a difference in my skin after my first use. It left my skin smooth, but without that tight feeling you get from some cleansers. I've been using the Neostrata Ultra Brightening Cleanser along with the 15% Vitamin C + PHA Serum, which also brightens your skin. I've noticed a big difference in my skin since I've been using both product's together. My skin is smoother and brighter. I highly recommend using the Cleanser. When I run out, I will be purchasing because it has become a staple in my skincare routine.

This cleanser leaves my skin feeling so smooth, It has a very mild sort of clean soapy scent. It's pretty creamy when you first apply it, and then really foams up which I really love. But that’s where it ends for me. I'm post menopausal and work really hard during the day, so I’m pretty much always dirty and sweaty. lol. It just didn’t leave my skin clean. When applying toner after I get out of the shower, I would realize I’d have to wash my face again. if it isn’t leaving my skin clean, I’m not sure how it could have any brightening or skin toning affects. I didn’t see any difference for the almost 3 weeks I used this product. I use more effective products now for less money.

And, it’s no wonder from looking at the ingredients. There are three sulfates in here, which are KNOWN to be irritating to skin. I like the cleanser because there is a noticeable difference in the darkness of my acne breakouts as they heal. It seems to fade any scarring much more quickly. I have also noticed an increased smoothness on previous areas of texture, so that is a great benefit! I will say that the effects are somewhat subtle and it did take a few weeks for me to really recognize it as it seems to build its effectiveness with consistent use. Many skincare products do take time to work, so that isn’t a dealbreaker for me! I would recommend this to anyone dealing with textured or rough skin and/or healing breakouts or previously scarred skin.

My skin loves this product, do I think it was brightening…I didn’t notice a difference but my skin felt really great each time I used the product. Didn’t leave my skin dry like some cleansers do and it mixed well with other hydrating products I use in my routine without skin disturbance. Packaging is minimal but I love the use of the bright white with yellow lettering…clever since it is a “brightening” cleanser haha. This skincare line has blown me away with these 2 products! They may have a lifer here! This cleanser is top notch! Super thick so you don’t need much but gets the job done! Some cleansers I have to wash my face twice and this cleanser suds up and gets all my makeup off with no issues and leaves my skin feeling amazing! After I was my face I’ll usually wipe it with an exfoliant pad and tons more makeup comes up when I though my face was clean however, with this cleanser I did the same thing and there was nothing on my exfoliant pad. So I must say I love this Cleanser! I was really skeptical to try because the last experience with another brand my face broke out! But I am so happy I did try it. From the first use I was so impressed how bright my face looked!!! It's been almost a month or so I been using it and I still have a lot more left. A little goes a long way.
