The product does not look as advertised. I have another sentry that is completely matte gold and this one was matte and shiny gold. Not the reason I ordered it. When I went to review the return policy, you are not able to return products that are engraved. A complete waste of $200+ dollars. All it will be is one expensive gift for someone else.

Ordered this watch because it was a good price for a reputable product. I am very picki and have been searching for a new watch since retiring my seiko. Very satisfied! The dial/face is the perfect size and band diameter fit my normal sized wrist perfectly. Day, date and time were easy to set. Could not be any happier with a purchase that I did not try on first. This watch is both manly and extremely classy. Multiple compliments on this watch the first time I wore it to a social gathering.
Super easy to adjust the band yourself (with tools) also setting time and date was super simple and straight forward instructions were on the watch itself. I got this piece to accentuate an outfit I did with light tan and red to add a touch of gold and it looked perfect with the outfit and I can already see other possibilities. I also dropped it by accident when I first took it out of the box but it didnt seem to do any visible or mechanical damage. I will surely by more pieces from Nixon in the near future.
Absolutely a looker! It’s got great weight to it - not flimsy like so many other brands today. Brilliant face color that catches a lot of compliments. Minimal design with all the right details. Love that you can see the day and date - so cool. You can even set it to Spanish I believe!Don’t sleep on getting a custom inscription on the back to make it even more special. BEST WATCH IVE EVER OWNED! Definantly my favorite; its extremely durable and scratch resistant, stunningly shined and accented it absoloutly glistens, f****n' gorgeous! This is a handsome gold watch in which I’ve received many compliments over the years. My watch collection was recently stolen by the air duct cleaners that came to our home. This is the first watch I repurchased. I also bought one for each of my sons as birthday gifts.
"Sentry" so far is Nixon's best wrist watch! I have all three version -- SS, leather & SS chrono. If unsure, I'd go first with the stainless steel. It's very versatile. Can be worn when dressed up (with a shirt) and dressed down (with polo or a tee with jeans and sneaker) easily - perfect accessory!!!! The leather is just okay when dressed up and perfect for casual or dressed down. The SS chrono version is perfect for both dressed up and dressed down but looks OS or larger than the non-chrono even with the same size... Only 4 out of 5-star rating 'coz the leather version I bought fr my local Nordstrom I had to return and replaced with a new one, day/date wasn't working after a month...
