Although considerably lighter than the Nixon Monopoly that I've owned for over 5 years, it still feels quite durable and I'm sure it will hold up as well as my Monopoly has. It looks fantastic, and is plain enough that you could wear it every day without it being gaudy.The only complaint I have about this watch is that the day of the week takes a few hours to fully change to the next day. It first takes a couple hours to change to the Spanish version, and then another couple hours to change to the correct English day. So all-in-all the correct day won't be displayed until about 4 or 5 in the morning. But most people tend to be asleep during this time and it is regardless only a minor inconvenience so I will still give the watch 5 stars.

My husband loves this watch! Amazing quality and great look. The original size of the wrist band was slightly smaller than I anticipated for him, but we were provided extra links with the order which made that an easy fix. The engraving on the back was perfect. Will definitely buy more in the future!

Overall I like this watch. I'm not the biggest guy (5'7", average weight), so this feels a little big on me, but I also like having a little heft in my watch now and then. It doesn't look like a little boy wearing his dad's watch or anything. My only "complaint" is that I wish this color was available in the solar edition because the bronze watch hands are a little difficult to see on the black background. I do not regret my purchase!

Very difficult to set the date and detailed instructions to do so or troubleshoot were not included with the watch. There is a sticker on the back that tells you to turn it but it wouldnāt turn and change the date. For the price, I expected ease. My date is still inaccurate and at this point Iām guessing itās just broken. Wish this feature wasnāt added to the watch if they werenāt able to perfect it.
This watch looks very nice, I can't deny that. The face and date window all look very slick, and the indigo/gold color combo updates the classic navy/gold look you see in a lot of older luxury watches. The problem I have is that this watch feels flimsy and cheap. I have an older Capital model from about 2009, the watch has a thinner case and a bezel that lays flatter, yet somehow that watch feels twice as heavy. I feel like for a thicker case, it feels less sturdy and heavy which i like in a watch. The band is definitely made of a lower weight stainless steel which isnt the end of the world but the clasp looks and feels delicate at best and fake jewelery-esque at worst. Watch looks great , so I made the mistake of having it engraved with my name. The bracelet is way too small for the average man. I called and asked for additional links and was told I had to pay for them. I've have multiple purchases with them also. The sizing on this is definitely for a woman . With it being engraved, it's not returnable. A very dissatisfied and loyal customer.
When I was informed that my original Nixon Don was beyond repair, I was in acceptance that it served its purpose. When Nixon offered to give me credit towards the purchase of a new watch, I was extremely grateful. Though not the original Don, the Sentry Stainless was a great addition to my collection. The watch has a nice, light weight to it, but feels very high quality.Pros: love the over sized face- itās not too oversized, just right for my tastes. The face has a slight lip to it- where it actually extends past the crystal- which is great Iāve noticed for protection. The minute markers stand out nicely and are easy to read. It looks great the design overall has a classic look that really stands the test of time. I also like the contrasted color of the second hand, itās a slight orange - which looks great.Cons: first thing, is first. HOWEVER- I really like the color and it goes well with pretty much everything. The band is also lighter in the photos- itās more of a dark bronze band. I was also not prepped for this and thought about returning, but it warmed up to me after wearing it. What I do like about the band is that it has this iridescent kind of vibe going on - in certain lights, especially in sunlight it has different hues of greens and blues- it looks really cool. I think you can kind of see that in the photos a bit, or at least a representation of that, looks better in person. Finally- the minute and hour hands- I WISH were darker, they are a chrome color which isnāt enough contrast to the watch and so in darker lighting makes it hard to see the hands.Overall- IF you have a better description of the watch as a vintage (bc it does emit vintage vibes) bronze watch- I donāt think youāll be disappointed at all. This is my third Nixon and Iāve really dug them all, this included- just set your expectations right.
A great watch to pair with any ensemble. The perfect contrast to a darker look as well as a fitting accent to your lighter colors. For the price, you canāt get any better than the Sentry. IMO it makes a statement without being flashy. Subtle yet noticeable. The perfect addition to any wardrobe. Putting on this watch in the morning feels like the first spritz of a fine cologne, or looking in the mirror one more time because you know you got āITā today. If youāre looking for candid yet outspoken, look no further than Nixonās fine piece, The Sentry.
