Product is excellent. Vendor was not. Showed one large bottle of fish oil for the same amount I always pay. I thought it was the same item I always order. Turns out it was false advertising as two small bottles arrived with fewer items in each than the one large bottle I typically purchase for the same amount. I will be more careful next time to check quantity and vendor and not repeat my mistake.

Excellent quality fish oil capsules so long as you consume bovine gelatin. It is difficult to find a clear listing for the ingredients, as they just list 'gelatin' on the packaging and the website, but if you look under FAQ at the bottom on their website, then go to Flavors, Allergens, And Safety Profile, you will find that at the time of writing (01.2023) they state:'Gelatin SourceIf you see gelatin referenced on our label and the source is not listed, it is sourced from bovine. In the event that another source of gelatin is used then it is included in the ingredients listing on that specific product.'No fishy aftertaste, no acid reflux, and a similar size to all other fish oil tablets (quite large).

I ordered last week on the 30th, 2 kids vitamins & this adult fish oil, took a week to arrive, shipped from UPS then they switched to USPS. The box they came in was so hot. So I already knew the vitamins were as well. I was home when they got delivered so the delivery truck must have been very hot inside. I open the box they smell like a strong plastic smell very bad. The vitamins were all stuck together and everyone knows vitamins are not safe to eat after being in high temperatures! Spent a lot of money on this. I recommend purchasing in person at a store.
I’ve used Nordic Naturals for years. The most recent batch of Ultimate Omega that I purchased in June/July came with all the softgels stuck together and a slight fishy odor that has not been present in previous batches. I’ve stored this correctly (cool, dry place) and the odor has gotten worse with now some leakage apparent from some of the gels. Having to discard 40% of the bottle as I can’t tolerate the strong fishy smell or taste anymore. Will try a different Nordic product to see if the issue exists there, but will no longer purchase this product :-(.
Ultimate omega is great. Just a solid choice. You know it’s from good sources, but you also you can’t feel the difference after consistently taking. It has quite literally changed my life for the better (Along with my other supplements I take for health). Physically what I’ve noticed is my hair skin and nails are strong and growing. Also my mental health has improved dramatically. That’s my favorite part. This is essential for us!! Worth investing
I bought this product (by mistake...looking for other omega 3 products) when is came I noticed an intense fishy smell.. I thought perhaps that's what it is supposed to be like. well after a month of taking it I decided to research and see that it is probably a rancid product. tossed it tonight. will keep researching for another product

Any form of a good fish oil supplement is wonderful for your body(nails,skin,hair,ect.) and reducing cholesterol levels. However, as you have read, the Ultimate Omega has been recommended by several ophthalmologists for a reason. This capsule has PURE fish oil: anchovies and sardines, therefore getting the FULLEST, strongest, benefit of your fish oil supplement. The triple has includes combinations of smelt, cod, tuna, in "any combination". That means you are not getting the strongest or purest amounts that are SO much more beneficial to dry eye. It is your choice which is best for you, but to say these are the same as the triple is just plain incorrect. By the way, a fish oil supplement, in general, is a good choice in my opinion.Yes, I'm in the medical profession, a nurse.
