Nordic Naturals Ultimate Omega - Lemon - 60 Softgels

If I could give this zero stars, I absolutely would. At first, I didn’t notice how awful this product was. But around the same time I begin taking these omega-3 pills, I started feeling tremendously nauseated, and my taste was affected like nothing before. There was several foods that I could no longer smell or even be around. It was a nightmare. Two weeks after I stopped taking this product, my food aversions became less prominent. I have slowly been able to build back to a normal, unrestricted diet. My nausea is gone now. I wish that I had never taken these, and I deeply regret having discovered this product at all. Stay away!

Best I've used for quality and efficacy

I've taken various quality fish oils over the years and have specific symptoms that occur when I'm low in omega-3 so it becomes clear what is helping and what isn't. I hesitated to try Nordic Naturals previously because of a possible reaction to the rosemary extract and lemon flavoring (have sensitivities to salicylates and some polyphenols). I take this before a full meal and have had no problems. My stomach is fine. And though the pills are big, they not as big as the others I used to take. They go down easily. One tip if you are having problems with swallowing is to take them with a bit of prune juice. The bottle arrived so quickly and was in perfect condition. I have decided to be an all IHerbs customer now for supplements rather than ordering thru Amazon. Great service every single time I have ordered. Worth the little extra I may have to pay.
