Pravana ChromaSilk - Vivids Wild Orchid 90ml

My must have, my go to, and always in stock at my house in a variety of colors! The colors are amazing. Vivid and bold. The color last pretty long and is pretty true to color. Best results on blonde, light colored hair or bleached hair. Make sure if you are doing it yourself that you cover your skin with conditioner or Vaseline to keep from staining your skin. As far as teals go - get “green” it’s a true teal in my opinion. I’ve had almost every color so if you have questions please reach out. I've been looking for a deep dark green like this for a long time and this did not dissapoint. To preface, I wash my hair every other day, I use cooler water on it, color saving shampoo and conditioner, and use heat tools also. I applied this onto prelightened hair, about a level 9, it applies really dark which I'm totally okay with. It is the perfect dark deep emereld green that can be really hard to find. It's conditioning on the hair and probably lasted me about a good month or so before it really started fading out.

Pigmentation. They however are the most expensive vivids in the hair industry and offer little solution on keeping them in longer. In this photo, I have Wild Orchard Pravana Chromesilk vivids applied. This color is apart of the red dye, smallest hair molecule, so washing even once, you’ll see a lot of color run through.

My absolute favorite hair color for vivids. I often have vivid, unnatural colors in my hair and have tried so many different brands on the market and Pravana is by far my favorite. Pravana Vivids produce the most long lasting results and are fairly close to depositing the color you see out of the tube as long as you start with a clean base. If you want bright vibrant color, find a stylist who uses this brand and buy an appropriate shampoo and conditioner. Highly recommend

That said, I've tried literally everything, and I can tell you that I always go back to Pravana for bright, semi-permanent color. It lasts a loooong time, can stain almost everything, but again, it lasts a long time and the colors are true to the tube. Keep the color wheel handy because it all depends on how you mix the color with your existing hair color and if it's pre-lightened, which is recommended. I'm usually in the blue ranges when it comes to hair color but will occasionally get out of my comfort zone and do a green or a purple like this one. To get around some of the staining, I make a custom color conditioner with 2/3rds conditioner to 1/3 of Pravana. Read all the reviews though and use the Fakespot browser extension to check review legitimacy. I've read that they might be selling fake product, so buyer beware.

I was looking to switch to fashion colours and my stylist recommended to use Pravana. Very vibrant colours and long lasting compared to over the counter and semi-permanent dyes other salons I've tried. However it does stain alot on pillows, loose hair on floor and counters in the bathroom and colours washes off a lot when in water so you have to be very careful cleaning up before it stains. I use a colour stain shampoo and conditioner my stylist gave me to maintain my colour. Going on 2 months now and hair is still vibrant!

I personally did NOT like this at all. My hair was already pre lightened to a very very light blonde I would say a number 8/9 and this didn’t take at all. It could be that my hair was a little damaged from bleaching but literally did nothing for me. Hopefully other people have better results than I did. It was also on clearance at cosmo prof. It was always in stock when I went there too so definitely wasn’t selling a lot. That’s just my opinion tho. If anyone had different results I would love to know because never know maybe I’ll give it another try. Maybe there’s a trick to it lol.

I'm SO in love with the Silver!!

I had bought the color Silver and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made! The consistency was great! I was dying on top of a verrry light almost white blonde color. Right after I had dyed it, It was dark and a tint of blue or even a little purple in some spots, depending on the lighting, but I didn't mind at all! It was definitely more of a gunmetal grey immediately after dying it. But I still loved it! After washing it for the first time, it turned into the most beautiful silver color! I go quite a while without shampooing my hair so the color really lasts long! After more washes it slowly lightened more and more, and the color faded just beautifully every time! Meh don’t like it

nnnnThis product is not formulated well. I bought the silver. I have used it twice now. The product does not stick to roots. After first wash roots are not done. The color does not apply evenly. I was left with blue,violet Metallic hues blotched all over. Why I decided to do it a second time I do not know. Only good thing is if you wash it a crap ton with head n shoulders you can get rid of the blue and violet hues and it is more a grey. It doesn’t fade to a green which is a positive. It seemed to have completely faded within a month....thankfully. The silvery blond I was left with near the end was my favorite. So it’s pretty pointless to use if it’s only decent looks after about a month!!! How anyone could recommend this I don’t know how.
