I’ve been searching high and low for the most perfect foundation and finally found it. I bought mn5 and mn6 which was the suggested colours for me at the store. I use this one with BK beauty foundation brush and a little goes a long way. Trust me a pump covers half the face and neck. It goes on so well that I find myself never needing a concealer. It becomes matte after a minute upon application, I love that it has hydrating ingredients as well as the much needed spf 30! I also have been wearing them around Miami Beach and let me tell ya. They last a long time. Sweat proof even! And transfer proof to a degree. I love love love this one. GThis foundation is amazing and so lighto try it for yourself..

Loved the old formula (felt like it was a wonderful follow up to the ysl teint resist I used years ago that was discontinued), but couldn’t find an appropriate shade match with the old all hours foundation formula. Decided to give the new formula a go, LOVE it!!! I used the Sephora shade match and it actually picked the right shade for once (LN8)! Was worried it’s on the lighter side, but it’s blended fairly well to my neck for now and looks good in pics. I wear shade 1N in dior forever skin glow and forever for reference. I’ve missed ysl foundations so much, they really are beautiful. And the scent is nostalgic for me, obsessed with the (now) light cucumber/watermelon scent. Appreciate that it’s not as heavily fragranced as before, but still kept the same scent. It really is a beautiful luminous matte foundation, but on days I want it more matte, I mix with half a pump of dior forever. I do get oily on my t-zone, but after like 8-10 hours which I’m good with. Still looks as fresh as when I applied it by the end of a 10-12 hour wear day too. Very lightweight and pigmented, but doesn’t cover freckles well with damp sponge of course, probably need a brush for fuller coverage. I use 1.5-2 pumps. I have dry combo skin, but this doesn’t flake or dry out my skin even with a mattifying primer. Definitely repurchasing!

Sigh. It’s so hard buying foundation over the internet, but I had a previous YSL foundation that I absolutely loved. Sadly, it was discontinued and so I looked for a replacement. This is not even close to the quality of what I had before. The color I thought I needed (we need a better chart to compare to our skin tones!) was not available with Nordstrom) and the color numbers are way different than the previous product (can’t we go uniform here, so that if YSL retires one foundation, those same colors are carried over into the new product?). I had to select the one I thought would be the next closest. Nope… too light and even though I have a slight yellow tint to my skin, the yellow undertones in this are too strong.I always use a moisturizer or serum before ... MoreSigh. But even with pre-treating my skin, this product is so dry that it will settle into any lines or wrinkles one had and amplify them. There is no reflective light at all. It is flat (it’s matte I know, but come on, no moisture at all?). It makes me feel heavily made up, which I hate. So I try mixing it with serum or moisturizer before applying and that helps a little. But seriously, this stuff will dry out on the back of your hand or your face before you can even use a sponge to apply it with. You can’t do a light buildup in areas under the eyes because it won’t spread. This is not a product that works for mature skin. All in all, I feel like I paid way too much for a product from a company I count on to deliver great light reflective foundation. So now I have to start all over again.

Feels nice, but will show texture
23 June 2024

I actually really liked this foundation at first. Zero complaints. Then, I had my acne scars removed and my skin looked amazing. When I put this foundation on though you could see the texture that remained. My skin actually looked better without makeup when this was my foundation. I still want to wear foundation because I have some redness I'd like to even out so I tried something new and that one doesn't show any texture. Like I said, I loved it at first. This is an excellent product. Just something to think about if you have textured skin.

Most Beautiful Full Coverage!
19 January 2024

This might be the most beautiful full coverage foundation ever! I have combination skin, and this performs wonderfully on my dry and oily areas. The finish is gorgeous, somewhat matte but somewhat radiant at the same time, I don't know how they did it, but they nailed it! I get the smoothest finish from this... like, what pores? And... it wears all day without breaking up or settling into any texture on my 42 year old skin. It smells lovely, beautiful packaging... but my one gripe is the pump. The pump kind of spits out the product and it drips down onto the bottle, making a mess to clean up every time. I'm willing to deal with it since the formula is perfection.

Much love from acne prone skin <3
28 December 2024

I've been using this foundation for a little over a year, and I really like it! It doesn't break me out, it feels weightless, great full coverage, isn't cake-y, and it's totally buildable. The SPF IS BRAG-WORTHY! I apply SPF everyday, but when I add this on top it gives me that extra protection — as someone who spends a lot of time traveling and being in the sun, it has kept me protected! The only thing is, the matte feel and "transfer-free" doesn't apply to me well because of my oily-prone skin. However, I use a setting powder and it does the job well! So no complains, I really love this foundation.

Review of All Hours Foundation
2 March 2024

This is one of the best foundations I have ever used. The coverage is second to none and it doesn't flake get greasy or cake throughout the day. In fact it remains the whole day perfectly as applied. My only constructive comment is referring to the back as it states it's a sunscreen. Which confused me because I bought a foundation not merely a tinted sunscreen ? Two separate products usually. So if your marketing this as a tinted sunscreen than be clearer about what you are selling. A little confused there but still my topfoundation and makeup finds of 2024. I look forward to trying some more products.

This is the strongest scented makeup item I have ever smelled, including Jessica Simpson's Dessert products and those lip glosses from the early 2000's that smell like buring plastic. Good god. I would not recommend this product. While it has excellent coverage with very little product needed, even with a dry beauty blender, and this wow'ed me, there are major drawbacks. In testing, here's how it did ( My job is working on cars outside all day and that is where I tested it): Over a silicon based sunscreen, like Unseen Sunscreen or the Trader Joe's equivalent, it tested very well. Lasts 12 hours working outside in the heat, is very very VERY MATTE. The color was beautiful and looked natural, though the finish did not. Lasts 12 hours working outside in the heat, is very very VERY MATTE. The color was beautiful and looked natural, though the finish did not. Over La Roche Possay Anthelios Melt In Milk Sunscreen, separated and looked terrible immediately. Same effect over a regular daily moisturizer, just took about an hour instead of immediate impact for it to be destroyed. If you are prepared to quickly develop permanent skin conditions and allergies as a side effect of all the floral ingredients in this, have your face smell super strong gir about 20 minutes and want a super matte effect, AND if the only thing you wear under it is a silicon based sunscreen, it's a hit. Otherwise, I'd say go for something else.[I was in no way incentived to do this, it's from a sample I got with my last sephora order.]
