Learned of Josh and his passion from a Cleared Hot Podcast and so decided to check out his websites. I have a Lansky system, but it is complicated and not that convenient. This sharpener is exactly the opposite. I had a concern that it might be of lesser quality due to the cost. It is anything but that and I have been using it for two weeks with zero complaints. Very easy to use and compact in size. No experience with the fish hook sharpener feature yet but overall extremely happy with the product.

This pocket size sharpener is just what the doctor ordered. It’s light, rugged and just the right size to go anywhere. The steel works great for a quick sharpening, and the ceramic rods do a marvelous job in touching up a blade that’s already sharp. Keep one in your vehicle or backpack, and another at home. You won’t be disappointed.

This sharpener may be small but it works. The perfect size to put in your backpack for those long days in the back country. I won't ever have an excuse for a dull knife on a hunting trip again.

I have been using this as portable sharpener for Super Cub in the field. I have been abusing my Super Cub pulling climbing sticks and lock ons in the off season. Great little sharpener for touching up blade after working all weekend in the woods.
I didn't know this brand but I saw the video in the product page and the other they made on YouTube, and I think those people know their stuff.I bought the Pivot Knife Sharpener to finally have a sharpner worth of this name. It's pretty compact but it has one side with a diamond stone and another one with ceramic rods plus antoher side designed for tools and fishhooks.It's tiny but it does its job. I have tested on my kitchen knife and the result is amazing for the price you pay.I highly recomended it.
So far all is good with the sharpener. Great for keeping the EDC knife I carry sharp as can be. A good investment for me. Would definitely buy this again! A recommended item by a sharpening novice.
I bought this item this morning, and it worked perfectly. My old Buck got a knew edge. The edge is back and I am so happy. I would not use it on one of my expensive knives, but on a daily user budget knife absolutely.
Didn’t sharpen my small pocket knives or locking blades as expected. In fact it seemed to take the edge off of them. No damage but just got them a bit duller than before. I’m giving this a generous three stars since I bought another of Work Sharp’s products, the model WSGFS guided field sharpener and it worked very good. That runs just under $35 and gets my blades razor sharp. This was used on Buck, Case, Rough Rider and Swiss Army knives. Perhaps this is better on large kitchen knives. That’s what the design looks like to me. For $6 I’ll probably keep it to try on those larger knives or to knock off the edge before finishing up on the WSGFFS guided field sharpener.
