This solid bake ware pan is truly an amazing find. Love the lid. I can cook, serve and store leftovers. You cannot imagine the weight of this pan. I'm used to lightweight pans, this is not - very solid construction. Size is perfect for every day use. Grab it, you won't be sorry.
I wasn't 100% satisfied with this purchase. The lid is plastic. It would have been better if the lid is made of steel. The size is too small. If this is only +1 inch bigger then it'd be better. Even if I purchased this on sale it is not worth it.
This small roaster/baking pan is the perfect size for one or two people. I've needed a roaster this size for making chicken, meatloaf and such.
Perfectly sized pan for roasting 2 chicken thighs or making a small fruit crisp. Easy to clean. The heavy weight of the stainless means I can brown something in it and then finish in the oven and serve.
I have had my eye on this pan for several months and finally bought it. I love the quality of the pan and the weight of it. Nice feature to have a cover for it. It’s expensive but well worth it. I actually receive compliments on the pan.
I love the baker but I HATE THE LID!!!! The lid is very secure when it is on the baker but it is very difficult to get the lid off. It took me MANY MINUTES to get the lid off. It was so hard that I even pinched my finger in trying. There were no directions on how to remove the lid once on. It looks like the lid would be easy to remove but it isn’t. For that reason I am leery to use the lid. Good thing I didn’t have liquids or other foods that would ruin the presentation in the baker at the time. It was a struggle to remove the lid.
It is just my husband and me for meals, and this pan size is ideal for roasting. Since small size roasts are rare, or nonexistent, I buy large roasts then cut them down to size. It felt silly to use a large roasting pan, that is why I purchased this one. I can pan sear on the stove top, move the pan to the oven to roast, and then place back on the stove top to make gravy; one pan, three steps. Oh by the way, cleanup is a breeze since making gravy deglazes the pan. (Even if you don’t make gravy, cleanup is still easy.)
I love it! It cooks things so evenly and cleans up so nicely. It is also a beautiful design.
