All-Clad Stainless Steel Small 14 x 11 Inch Roaster with Rack

Beautiful roasting pan. I bought this for my Canadian honey who happens to cook the best turkeys. At first she thought it was a little extravagant, but after explaining it would take her roasting to a new level she relented. She always feels that she's too old for nice new things. She's not.It's unfortunate we didn't buy it sooner, but as they say better late then never ??

Does not work on an induction stove top

I bought this pan right before thanksgiving. It was the last one in the store and it did not come with a box. The salesman assured me it would work with an induction stove top so I could make a gravy right in the pan. I have several All Clad pots and pans that I love and all work on my induction stove, however this one does not! I’m so very disappointed. I originallly bought the pan in Dallas and used it at my son’s house with a gas stove top. I brought the pan home with me to Florida and used it again for a Christmas roast with electric oven and induction stove top. I was so very disappointed when I could not make a gravy in the same pan. It is heavy duty. Has great handles that are easy to grip and cleans up beautifully.

Great Roaster

This was a replacement for an older one that was a Teflon base which started to peel, which is scary. I did some research and this unit was highly recommended and the stainless steel is a much better option and healthier. It comes in a couple of sizes as well and I optioned for the smaller one due to being empty nesters, it has been an outstanding unit in making roast and others. Super easy to clean and look great.I do highly recommend this unit

Great roasting pan !

This is a quality roasting pan…just bought one for each of my daughters and they all love them….The rack is substantial and easy to clean. The pan itself is heavy and withstands the heavy duty cooking required during the holidays. Cleanup is fairly easy but I do use bar keepers friend because I am extremely fussy. All my All Clad pans look like new and, due to the quality of the cookware, is easy to maintain.I also roast vegetables and make lasagne in this pan with great success. Love this pan!

Great roster! No issues

This is my second purchase of this rack. The first time I purchased it for myself, but then ended up giving it away to my mom to use. Finally got around to purchasing the roaster for myself. Used for Thanksgiving without any issues. I didn’t use the rack to roast the chicken, and had no issues. My personally, I feel racks are cumbersome-but maybe I will use it at some point. Thermometer worked great as well.Great buy!

INDUCTION CAPABLE WITH 36' WOLF INDUCTION COOKTOP

I purchased both an All Clad small roaster and the William Sonoma large roaster with rack when we first purchased our Wolf induction cooktop. When I first cooked a 20 lb. turkey in the larger WS roasting pan, I was anticipating making gravy in the pan from pan drippings ...I was very disappointed to find my roaster would not work with the induction cooktop. I had to transfer the drippings to another pot and make the gravy in it. To say I was properly frosted was an understatement!! However, after the dinner was over, dishes washed, and company gone, I spent some time trying different positions on the cooktop to see if I could find a "sweet spot" where it would heat. SUCCESS!! With the WOLF 36' INDUCTION COOKTOP, THE LEFT 4 BURNERS WILL COMBINE INTO ONE HUGE BURNER BY USING THE "ALL BRIDGE" BUTTON (actually a touch control sensor) . If one burner is flickering, try moving your pan slightly to re-position it. To get the smaller All Clad roaster to heat, use the large LEFT burner..again, if the controls flicker, adjust the pan on the burner until the lights stabilize. The problem arises because the pans have a well around the edges, and the center is raised slightly to assist in having the drippings gather in the side well and away form your meat. I suspect both All Clad and WS will alter the edge well to create a flat surface for truly induction capable pans. The pans were a sizable monetary investment on top of a complete D5 pot and pan set so I was fairly motivated to get them to work with my Wolf cooktop. If you are buying new , check to see that in addition to the roaster being induction capable material, it is also completely flat so that it works easily with your induction cooktop.The roasters are HEAVY, cook beautifully, retain heat easily, and wash easily as well. If you are a dedicated pan user to make your gravy or sauces in to use all the pan dripping and fond to the max, its worthwhile making sure your new roaster is completely flat to ensure easy induction compatibility. I would definitely recommend these but with a caution for anyone with arthritic hands, etc. or an induction cooktop.

Nice Pan, Useless Rack

I received this as a wedding registry gift.The pan itself is nice, a very convenient size and certainly works well as a pan.The rack, however, is useless. It's nonstick coating limits the temperature to 375F, which is way too low for roasting. Despite being PTFE coated, there was plenty of sticking going on when I took it for it's first spin with some drumsticks, as well.Sadly All-Clad doesn't make a stainless rack that fits this pan, nor do many 3rd parties due to the smaller than average size. I wanted to like it, but it really feels like All-Clad missed the mark on this product. A stainless rack would elevate it to 5 stars, easily, but as it is, it's a roasting rack that is not safe to use for roasting most things.

Sturdy, excellent pan, stores easily

I’m very pleased with this roasting pan. I typically used the disposable ones because I didn’t want to store a large pan, so I got the small size. I was concerned whether it was too small but a 12 lb turkey, enough to feed 10 people, fits easily. It’s also not a huge pan so a roasting chicken and veggies will be my normal use. It has a convex bottom for strength but I was able to make a pan gravy with the drippings even on a glass cooktop. Overall a great sturdy item I wish I had bought 20 years ago.

Thin bottom

Very disappointed in how “heavy duty” the bottom of this pan is. I bought it to specifically use on a stovetop as listed in the item description. But I just burnt the pan last night as it’s much too thin to withstand and distribute heat evenly. And this was on medium heat! Unless the product I received is a defect…

Writing the review before opening the box.

I have not opened the box yet, this is my second roasting pan and the third set of same pots and pans. I had the first one before I met the girlfriend, we moved in together and 20 years later she is leaving to move back to the east coast. I woke up a few weeks ago and noticed she took all my AllClads with her. This is the moral of the story:1- The AllClad, outlasted the girlfriend and unlike my girlfriend, it still looks great.2- The AllClad never let me down or disappoint me (Every piece is a workhorse, you can take the roasting pan from the oven to the table and it will always be the center piece of any holiday table).2- I replaced the AllClad, much faster than the girlfriend (girlfriends come and go, but AllClad lasts a lifetime).
