Aveda is a trusted brand, so I was excited when I was gifted by Aveda for my honest review on this product. Having extremely thick hair that I color regularly, I am always looking for something to help my hair while extending the color. For my hair, this product seemed to not apply well. It says to use a small amount, but I found myself having to use almost 1/4 of the tube just to cover my hair. I prefer a more oily feel product, while this one is more creamy. This would probably be great for short or thinner hair than mine.

I went to Aveda store for help finding new leave-in/styling cream. I've been using the Smooth Infusion styling cream for years. The woman told me this was good replacement. But it feels like it contains powdered substance in it. Not easy to run thru my hair, leaves a tacky feeling and feels weird when it gets wet in the shower ( like it won't come out). I will return it. First Aveda return that I've ever made. I'll keep trying to find a simple clean/slick styling cream.

I'm glad I got to try this leave-in treatment from Aveda, most of the products I have tried by this brand were very good. And this cream like treatment is amazing it makes my hair shiny and bouncy, I'm glad I chose cream version of it, because my hair responds better to creamy textures. Ingredients in this treatment are so rich but it doesn't make my hair look greasy, just make sure you don't use to much of a product. My hair smells good afterwards and looks healthier. Perfecting Leave-In is forever my favorite products! It really inhibits frizz, makes hair calmer, silkier and softer. I still love so much that i can use it on dry and wet hair, which makes it even more practical. I just got my hair colored so this product was a definite add to my hair care routine. I love the scent on this, it is mild but so nice each time I use it. I have coarse and thick hair and I use around a quarter size amount and it is the perfect amount. It is really easy to spread in my hair and don't leave a weird film or texture in my hair. I have also used it in dry hair right before heat styling it again throughout the week and I feel like it protects my hair that way too.Gifted by Aveda
This cream treatment has incredibly lightweight texture and it you only need a small amount to treat the hair. I have hair that easily gets brassy and it tends to fade quite rapidly. Since I started use this treatment, my rich hair color has maintained vibrant, fresh, and looks freshly dyed. The cream treatment is smoothing, hydrating, and softening. It makes my hair feel health and strong. I love that it maintains my hair color for weeks and prevents my hair from looking brassy so quickly. This leave-in treatment was gifted by Aveda. I have been using this for a week & a half and love it! I use it on damp hair right before blow drying my hair and to me it works! I have highlighted hair and it makes my hair much softer after my blow dry & flat iron. A little goes a long way with this product so you only need a small pea size amount to get results. It also smells amazing after use! I highly recommend this hair product!
I received this product complimentary from Aveda. It feels as if I'm using a leave-in conditioner. The product goes on light and makes my hair feel nice and smooth. I haven't noticed much of a difference to hair color so it could be working to keep my hair color consistent over time. It has a strong botanical scent that was a bit overpowering for my preference. Nonetheless, it's a good product that is packaged nicely.
I actually have fine hair, but since it's bleached, it can get pretty dry & need an intensive conditioner. I like to use this on just my ends & the "light" version higher up on my strands. My husband however, has very thick dry coarse (shoulder length) hair & I doubt the frequent saltwater exposure from surfing is doing his horse hair any favors. lol His hair is not dyed but he's been using this anyway just as a leave-in conditioner & it's drastically softened his coarse hair so much. I received 100ml product and really love the tall, narrow packaging - always find easier for toiletries bag.I have highlighted coloured hair which is fine and flyaway and living by the sea it is pretty dry from the sun/salt/bleach. I have been using a small amount of the product through my hair to give it some condition. It has left my hair shiny and more conditioned.
