A few issues with chain tensioner it rubs on plate so can't tension chain properly.File to sharpen chain isn't very good quality and didn't sharpen chain at all.

This chainsaw is the best 16” that I’ve ever purchased in over 45 years of buying and using chainsaws.It starts up second pull after priming the carbi. It has already cut over 6 tons from new, and is very economical on fuel, when cutting up to 8 to 10” dia trees.Highly recommended, really does what says.

Good all rounder chainsaw

Good little saw starts first pull every time . Very comfortable to hold and use dor long periods of time and easy fill fuel and oil good all round chainsaw.

Good value for the price for the casual user.

The saw does everything my Euro saws do,i have this 38 cc Baumr and 2 similar Yukon models a 52 cc with a 20 inch bar and a 58 cc with a 24 inch bar, i have 3 Stihl saws a Solo and a Husquarna,iam a retired National Park Senior Officer that has been using Chainsaws for 50 years, my Euro Saws have served me well and are long lasting, i have only had my Asian made saws for between 7 years and 12 months, i question some of their claimed power ratings but for the home handyman who only cuts firewood a few times a year these Baumr and Yukon saws are great value for money. Most come with a warranty so if your disappointed then send it back and spend $500 more for a Stihl or Husky, except for the quality of the chain i doubt the average user would notice the difference.

Good value small saw.

This is a great little saw! I bought it for my wife to tidy up a bush block and cut wood for the stove. It gets a run most winter evenings. The spring recoil pull and 2 stage choke means that it starts reliably for her every time. The weight and handle placement gives good safe control for a small saw. Power is quite adequate to saw up to 30cm logs with the 16" bar. We have used an earlier model of this 38cc Baumr saw for several years and it is still going well.

Great 'value for money' saw

Had this saw for 2 weeks now. 15 minutes assembly, fuel, oil, choke out, few pulls & a bit of a splutter, choke in, 2 more pulls & away she went. Have cut dry hardwood limbs up to 150mm (6 inches) & it performed admirably with only one chain adjustment. Key to all chainsaws is to respect their limitations & maintain them properly & always sharpen chains regularly. I now have a Baumr-AG 38cc, 75cc & a 92cc & so far I could not have asked for more. Chain adjuster on the 92cc leaves a lot to be desired & MUST BE addressed. All in all these are great chainsaws for the price & my new 38cc is light & handy for the smaller jobs. Would definitely buy Baumr-AG again & thanks

Great Little Chainsaw

This the third Baumt-AG chainsaw I have bought. I keep buying them because they are excellent chainsaws. They start easily and keep going. They are also very cheap.

Great priced chainsaw

It's early days, but I've been impressed with this unit. It was easy to put together and started first go. Has cut a range of timber without issue so far. I am to take proper care of the saw and we'll see how long we can make it last. Feeling hopeful.

Reliable worker for the smaller, simpler or more detailed jobs

Great, easy to use, reliable saw. I live on steep country, so I need a lightweight saw for limbing trees that I've cut down. Light weight means it's easier to get around tree limbs and other obstacles on steep slopes. I call it "my walking around saw", as I can take it anywhere with less effort and more safety. The first chain on this saw lasted until it was filed down to the limits, so I don't understand comments about chain quality. However, I am now using a carbide chain due to changed usage (lots of hard, dry wood with lots of termite muck - hard on normal chains). Air filter and oil control could benefit from further attention by the manufacturer, so only 4 stars. Good saw when used within its capacity.
