Remove from heat and let stand 2 minutes. 1 Serving: 1/4 cup cereal; 3/4 cup water; pinch salt. 2 Servings: 1/2 cup cereal; 1-1/2 cups water; 1/8 tsp salt. 3 Servings: 3/4 cup; 2-1/4 cups water; 1/4 tsp salt. 4 Servings: 1 cup cereal; 3 cups water; 1/4 cup salt. Microwave: Combine 1/4 cup cereal, 1 cup water and a pinch of salt in a microwave safe bowl. Stir well. Microwave on high for 30 second intervals, stirring after each, until water is fully absorbed.
