We formerly had a kitchen aid and Ninja food processors as well as a kitchens aid immersion blender. I’ve been loving this one! The cheese grating is wonderfully useful. The potato masher we rolled our eyes at but use regularly and love. The immersion blender works to make smoothies taking about 5-10 seconds longer than our old products. We’ve been hand washing it and using it frequently to feed these 6 mouths and everything is till working fine. The only drawback is that French fry blade won’t work for this product, that I can tell.

Decent blender

I like using the immersion blenders, as in Europe it is a common appliance, and this one has an excellent set of attachments allowing you to have multiple tools.I really like the rubber bottom of the blender that prevents scratches on the bowls and pots. The engine is powerful and smooth. Speed regulator is ok, although I 'd prefer my old Braun Multiquick's single buttonWhat I did not like a lot is that the bowl cracked during the first time I used it. Tried to make gazpacho, and the bowl's bottom cracked when I started to process tomatoes. It looked rather sturdy and perhaps I got a defective one. Waiting for the replacement

Disappointing quality, but also really handy!

I am quite disappointed with the quality, particularly with three areas:1. The "align" arrows on the food processing bowl and cover are WAY off.2. The bottom of the blending leg has plastic or silicone padding, but it looks a little ratty.3. For the slicing blade, when in the closed position, the arrow and the "stored" line are also way off. This is really awesome for processing smaller batches of food. I have the Sous Chef Pro 16 Cup food processor, which can be a pain to take out and clean for smaller batches of food.I am also disappointed with the lack of instructions related to the immersion blender functionality of this product. There seems to be a huge emphasis on the other attachments. There seems to be a huge emphasis on the other attachments. According to the manual, you should be able to use the blending leg in the processing bowl, but there is a metal spindle that is in the middle, which does not seem safe to use with an immersion blender. The blending foot is also much larger in diameter than I expected, so I am unable to use it in my smoothie mugs. Had I known this, I probably would have opted for the simpler immersion blender set that includes the blending jug.

Great but not very durable
2 February 2020

We have had been using this unit for a little over 18 months. The first one lasted about 6 weeks before the bowl broke. We contacted Breville who replaced it. After replacing it we used it several times a week and it worked well. There is definitely a durability issue since it started falling apart again. the metal ring holds the bushing at the top of the bowl fell apart and would not stay together. We would put everything in place to use it but now the gear is stripped and the bowl portion is sitting in the cupboard and is completely useless for us.The other thing we don't understand is why there is plastic at the very bottom of the immersion blender wand. Why would the wand be metal and have the bottom portion plastic? We like to make tomato sauce where we simmer tomatoes for a while in a pot and puree them at the end. Our previous immersion blender was completely metal and allowed us to put the blender in the pot without melting the wand. This unit would easily get 5 stars if the durability were improved and the wand was redesigned so that there would not be plastic at the bottom.

Quality is so good
18 May 2022

I was tired of buying cheap immersion blenders with attachments by other brands, so I decided to splurge and get the Breville all in one. While I have yet to attest if it lasts longer, I know with my warranty that I have I am guaranteed to have it working for several years (all the other brands tend to only last a year regardless of how much you spend). Instantly upon receiving it I could tell that the quality was so much better than other ones I have owned. I was very impressed with it and have been pleased with the motor and how efficient it is. This is the start of me being a lifelong Breville Customer

The best Swiss army knife for your kitchen prep work.

Pros:Makes perfect mash potatoes every time silky smooth.Blends soups in the pans until perfectly creamy and silky. The food processing unit with adjustable slicer and processing quad blade is perfect for slices of produce like carrots and potatoes. The food processing unit with processing quad blade is great for processing meats into mince and chopping veggies quickly and neatly.Whisks egg whites and cream for example perfectly each time.Cons:Motor is weak and WILL burn out if you try to make nut butters with the food processing unit or anything that's too hard.If the whisk is not held straight when whisking i will make a mess splashing food everywhere.Overall:Great Swiss army knife for kitchen prep work or processing small batches of food. The food processor part doesn't work with food in it
15 February 2023

I am a huge Breville fan and a fanatic about the immersion blender. I have had the regular one for years. I accidentally bought the All in One when I needed a second one. The blender and whisk work beautifully, as always. But the food processor is junk. I tried to mix a soft pie dough, and later to grate cheese. Both times, the machine worked fine when it was empty but stopped dead when food was inside. I did not test this feature until after my amazon deadline passed so cannot return it for the version I want. Breville finally sent me a new top (I accidentally ruined something trying too many times), but the problem remains. DO NOT BUY THE ALL-IN-ONE. It's a flawed monstrosity that takes up too much counter space. Get the Control Grip instead. Every part works, and ... MoreI am a huge Breville fan and a fanatic about the immersion blender. This is now my go-to kitchen appliance
2 February 2023

The only thing it does not do is walk the pets or need dough. It is so well thought-out. The slicer has a variable thickness adjustment, the grater has a reversible disc for fine and coarse grating, both discs can be coupled with the chopping blade, the bowl has a seal around the edge so there is no spilling, and the motor is reliable. It is worth the investment!

Warrantee only covers motor!?!?!
16 January 2023

After waiting for months I finally received by All in One in August. After just a few uses the bowl cracked, just like other reviews have stated. The shocker was when I was told it wasn't covered under the 1 year warrantee (only the motor is covered) and I would have to pay for a new bowl! 3 months and a broken bowl! Not impressed. I love the appliance, but the quality is so poor.

Works great, but the bowl is terrible
28 January 2023

I bought this at the end of 2021 for a Christmas gift for my wife. We use it occasionally, but not enough for the bowl to crack (like literally every other review on here as well). It cracked after just a few months, and I'm posting now because I've had a very difficult time trying to get in touch with a customer service representative for the past few months. Hoping someone will let me know how we can replace the bowl.
