Unfortunately I suffer from acne and blackheads the worse being my cheeks and chin, I've tried various acne products over the years and medication from the doctors which are only a short term fix so I'm glad I got too try the face wash and the gel. Along side using the face wash, I use this product after drying my face. It has no fragrance really which I like, it comes out as a typical gel and you only need a little bit too cover a whole face. Since using the product I've seen a improvement in my overall skin, I feel more fresh and cleaner. My acne seems so much calmer too. I'm glad I tried this product and will continue too use.

This blemish control gel is a lifesaver. I do not suffer from acne but have started getting spots and pimples as I move in to menopause and it is annoying as my skin is normally clear. This gel is great to quickly pop on as it calms the redness associated with spots and seems to shrink them really quickly. So if I get it on at night they are virtually invisible in the morning. A day of using and they pretty much clear up. I have just had a couple of very resistant spots that have taken a little longer to clear but at least the reduction in redness makes them less obvious and easier to cover up. One thing I did notice was that it did sting when put on the bigger spots, not the majority but a couple of the larger ones. Otherwise I loved this gel and will be buying ... I tested CeraVe Blemish Control Gel Moisturizer for 2 weeks and I can say that once again I was not disappointed with this brand. The gel has a very light consistency, absorbs very quickly and is not sticky. I noticed a huge difference on my face after using this cream. my blemishes have been reduced, the pores have become much smaller. my skin color has been toned down, it is smooth and radiant. gel does not dry out the skin and even moisturizes it. my skin from slightly red took on a uniform color which I am delighted with. I recommend this product to everyone and will definitely be back.

I've had acne from a few spots to a face full of blemishes, blackheads and very large open pores from the age of 11. Back then there wasn't anything like this CeraVe product snd the product I was given to use by my mum was a foaming face wash that was very striping on the skin. This product is fantastic! I've been using it daily alongside the Blemish Control Cleanser in an evening as part of my night time routine and wow! The difference in my skin is unbelievable. It applies to my skin well and really targets those areas of my face that dry out and have blackheads persistently particularly around my nasal and cheek areas. It leaves my skin well hydrated and doesn't leave a greasy texture on my face which I find with alot of these types of products is a huge problem. The packaging looks great too. Great all round product that I would highly recommend this to anyone struggling with blackhead or blemish prone skin as it's a massive must have for your skin collection

Like many other products there is a tendency to leave a “shine” on your face, especially right after use. However, this is almost always followed up by a residue being left on your face once dried (often by the morning) which leaves a lot to be improved. With regards to the results, my blemish’s are usually small and inconspicuous to someone further afar but can be seen when in close proximity and the CeraVe Blemish Control Gel did reduce the appearance of them slightly though no more than other products that are intended for the same purpose. I’ve been using this item for over 2 weeks now and it’s made a big difference in my appearance and my breakouts. For me, when I now have a breakout I apply this on it and it reduces the redness and basically shrinks it and makes go away in a few days rather then lasting a week. I use foaming cleanser day and night. then in the evenings I follow with the control gel. Then in the morning I use the retinol that is within the blemish control range and after that I use the facial moisturiser 30spf. The retinol is great for the post-acne marks and this definitely helps reduce breakouts as well. This routine has worked for me, not completely getting rid of them but definitely reducing the appearance. I would definitely recommend these products.
I have been using both the Cerave blemish control cleanser and gel for early 2 weeks and have really noticed a difference: my skin is smooth with noticeably less acne (even at the time of the month where hormones come into play) and my pores have visibly reduced. Both products are really easy to use and you do not need to use a lot so will last a while especially the cleanser. The cleanse has a neutral smell, feels lovely on my skin and doesn’t dry it out like a lot of other face products do. The pump bottle makes it really easy to use too. The gel is slightly sticky so you need to rub it in straight away however it absorbs into your skin really quickly leaving no residue.
Recently I bought a different skincare brand, which broke my skin out terribly. I am 20 and have never really suffered with spots. I was desperate to rejuvenate my skin, so I took a chance with this product and their other similar product, the blemish control cleanser. So far, it has helped my spots reduce in size. I am into the third week of using this and I am impressed as of yet. I hope it continues to help my skin. I will say that it does leaves the skin feeling slightly sticky but it isn’t too noticeable. I would definitely recommend this product if you have trouble with spots/acne. *Note- I did not receive this as a free product. It would not allow me to select no. This is my genuine experience.
I used the CeraVe Blemish Control Cleanser & CeraVe Blemish Control Gel for 3 weeks and I have to say it's amazing how my facial skin has changed. The texture and color of my skin changed, it became less oily. After more than a week, my blackheads and blemishes started to be less visible. My skin was hydrated, soft & smooth. The consistency of the gel is very light. It absorbs very quickly, so you don't have to wait long to apply the SPF cream, which is quite important to me. I heard a lot of compliments from my family and friends about my skin. I think these cosmetics are really very good. I highly recommend it!
