CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion 16 oz

Before I used this product , let me tell you☝🏻..I didn’t realise what my skin was missing! Clearly IT WAS THIS! I have eczema prone skin which generally means I’ve been through all the works with moisturisers 😩 Aveeno, E45 Diprobase and so on! It would be effective on my skin for a short period of time but not really help my makeup application and just generally making my skin feel heavy and overly oily. When I tell you the difference on how my base went on and how flawless it had me looking. It really said ima give you glass skinnn! It was the right consistency melted into my skin making my dry patches feel nourished and loved. I have since then bought one for myself and one for my makeup kit as it is a GAME CHANGER for us dry skin babes! I’ve been using it ever since and it has stayed a consistent moisturiser for me. I like to pair it with hyaluronic acid in my skin prep and works perfectly for my pm skincare when I need to pair it with the a retinol too. Literally chefs kiss 🤌🏼💋

It helps to bind water to collagen, trapping it in the skin, so that skin can appear plumper, dewier, and more hydrated. My skin barrier will be well-protected tonight! This probably won’t replace my normal moisturizer, but I’m happy I knew I was safe putting it on my skin. I can’t give a company that animal tests 5/5 stars…

I have searched for lotions that will help my skin because my skin is very sensitive so I need some thing that is not thick and oily and will not break out my skin . I started using this lotion about three years ago and my skin has significantly changed. Are used to be scared of using lotion on my face because I didn’t want to add oil to it because my face I thought it was very oily but instead, I came to figure out that it was actually super dry because I would never put lotion on. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who has normal to dry skin and does not want an oil moisturizer on their face.

The lack of humidity will quickly reek havoc on your skin. Having previously tried CeraVe's sunblock products, it was an easy choice to make when it comes to a body moisturizer. This CeraVe product has that purity that I look for, no nonsense but total quality. I also look for products that are fragrance free as I feel sometimes the scent can mask a lower quality product. A little goes a long way. It is worth it to me to pay a tad bit extra above the store brand. Also, knowing that National Association's endorse CeraVe products is an added stamp of quality. I've been using CeraVe Daily Moisturizing Lotion for a while now, and it's been a reliable part of my skincare routine. This lotion is fragrance-free, which is a big plus for sensitive skin like mine. It hydrates well and leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth throughout the day. I tried CeraVe and I’d say that it did better than most, but wasn’t the best moisturizer I’ve tried. Oddly enough, the most effective lotions have been the Bath and Body Works ultimate hydration body creams with hyaluronic acid. However, of course they’re all scented. Since I love wearing fragrances, I often need an unscented moisturizer so that the lotion’s scent does not mess with the fragrance. This is where I wanted CeraVe to perform equally well to the BBW creams. While CeraVe doesn’t perform as well on my skin, it does keep my skin moisturized for a few hours before I need to reapply. Can be used on acne-prone, redness-prone face

I have combination to combo/oily skin and I live in a country with hot and humid summer. I use this twice a day on my face after serums and before sunscreen. No allergy, no break outs at all even on my redness-prone cheek and acne-prone chin. Once you apply the lotion it gets absorbed quickly and leaves no greasy feeling. I was worried that the paraben in the formula might make me allergic but not at all. It was right decision to choose this lotion over the PM night one as I have a separate niacinamide serum for night time and my sunscreen has niacinamide for the day time. For those who already have niacinamide in your other skin care products, no need to duplicate with PM night lotion. Opt for this more budget option!

When i first found this i loved it. And its a great moisturizer i feel moisturized. But i notice that under makeuo theres dry flakes and i can really notice with makeup. I notice thus on my forehead where i usually have a lot of sebum production causing me to have pretty oily skin. I feel as tho im not that oily with this but now my skin can feel a little dry. Maybe this isnt a year round moisturizer and only works for me in the summer? Ive never had this problem until recently when i repurchased. Nothing else in my skincare has changed. I had to add a hydrating serum primer to my routine to compensate for my dry skin. It could be something else but i really think its because of this because it happened as soon as i starred using this bottle. ALSO... The pump broke ... MoreWhen i first found this i loved it. Ill finish this bottle because its still okay but i will not repurchase. My first bottle was great but this one is not. Im not gonna stick around for this inconsistency.

My go to basic lotion

I bought this on a whim as I ran out of my facial oil. I'm glad I tried it even though I was a bit nervous as the idea of putting most lotions on my face seems disastrous between the scents and heavier oils. It doesn't break me out, isn't heavy, and gets the job done. Plus, it absorbs into the skin quickly. It doesn't feel like it's just sitting on your skin. I love that this doesn't do a whole bunch and it's the reason I purchase it which might sound counter productive but not at all when you use serums and cleansers aimed towards that kind of thing and just want a lotion you can use on the face/body. I break out on my face with products that contain oils or harsher ingredients, but this one moisturizes the skin and that's all I want. My favorite LOTION, no pilling up or residual greasiness like a lot of lotions. Absorbs right away and yet still able to feel it slightly after a few hours-- unless it's applied to my hands which I tend to wash off in the course of a day. I apply this to my face, arms, and neck as well, and use on my lips for chapping throughout the day. Relieves dry feeling at once and doesn't feel oily or thick. I'll use this a few times a day to help relieve dryness from fans and or heaters running in the house. Wonderful after kitchen or house cleaning.
