I honestly love this product. I can say it does work really well. I have been using these refill strips on the back off my posters for years in my dorm. Really good for dorm use because it doesn't damage your walls. I would definitely recommend this product to others.

3m strips

our bar & family room have a racing theme. we have numerous signed posters, etc from nascar & nhra drivers. once they are laminated, we hang them using the command strips. we also use them, to hang the car show posters in the garage where our 1969 chevelle is kept - great & inexpensive garage art! i've rearranged the posters many time with no damage to the walls. the bar & family room were just remodeled and i am buying more strips to re-hang the poster

Best product ever for holiday decorating

I originally purchased these when they first came out just to try. So glad I did! I use them constantly all through the house. They are the perfect thing for holidays or any time of the year for someone who likes to change the look of a room as often as I do.

Can hold way more than advertised

So, we got these Command strips that say they can hold a pound a piece, right. WRONG! Total fabrication. Alright, so I got this coat hanger that looks like an airplane prop and it's wood with steel hooks. 5 pounds easy. Not only did 2 strips hold the 5 pound coat hanger, we put my 12 pound backpack and a coat on the sucker and just let it hang. It's STILL THERE. Dude, my mind is freaking blown ya know??? You could repair all sorts of stuff with these things even...amazing!!!

Decent

Command hooks can't do everything but I appreciate that they work enough. In my experiences, I've found that they work better with good quality paint for best results, since that is what they're holding onto. If they fail I use a nail in that same spot knowing that the next coat of paint will have chipped paint and a nail hole to fix. To save money, I've taken to saving the plastic and so I am here for replacement strips. I haven't had tragedy with the actual plastic part yet so I will reuse. I saw some offers of 64 counts out there, but this 20 count was the best price per that I found in this case. The larger quantities of strips have better values. It will snap back at your hand but it shouldn't be too bad. Of course, if the paint is not strong then there may be no hope. I have not used these yet but it is from the same brand I've used before. Command has different weight suggestions on different aged products it seems to likely avoid liability I assume. They usually work (with decent paint) so command hooks are decent. In my opinion it is worth the hope that the wall will not be damaged.

Do not recommend!!!

We bought a brand new house and have bought several of this product (all diff sizes) to hang our pictures and items instead of putting holes in the walls, but almost all of our pictures and other decorations have fallen off the walls and several of our things have broken. I am very upset and disappointed with this item and the fact that we have lost alot of our things do to them breaking!!

Don’t stick very well.

They do work don’t get me wrong but depends what you use and what type of wall as well. I enjoy this product but I don’t like that you have to leave a little white strip out to pull and tug to safely remove the glue. Though, I can’t see any other way to carefully remove these without damaging your wall. They are definitely worth it I’m just nitpicking.

Refills Hold Up Under Volunteer Work Pressures!

The small and mini sized refill strips have played LARGE role in activities for our local schools and Sunday School!I am the chairperson for our Book Fairs in the fall and spring. Nothing but Command strips will adhere to the walls of our gym. Without these there would be very bare walls! They have been used to display posters and signs, student work, strings of lights, etc.At our church, I teach the middle school class. We use the refill strips to decorate our Wall of Fame with student work each year. At the end of the year, the work has held up, but can be removed without damage to the work or the walls. The church and the students are happy.

Small-Poster size strips

I use these strips with the small wire hooks and hang my lightweight door wreath with them. I am very pleased with the way they hold especially being outside and in cold weather. They remove easily when I am done. They are great inside the house too, especially for people like me who have commitment issues when decorating the walls. I recently received a sample of them from the company but I have been using them for years and have always loved the product.

great holding power

I had a small curtain rod and a straight valance that I wanted to hang in our newly remodeled bathroom. After painting the walls and trim I really hated the idea of putting holes in the trim or walls to hang the small valance rod so I decided to try using a couple of extra refill strips directly to the back of the rod bracket as the screw holes on the bracket were too small to accomodate a command hook. The strips worked out perfectly and my rod and valance will be easy to take down when I repaint.
