I had a set of four for years and at that time that was all I needed. The first set lasted so well I decided to add to my set and buy another set. These dishes are very durable! Like I said my first set I still have and use daily!! I also love that they don't take up a lot of space in the cabinet. They are light weight. They go in the Microwave, dishwasher and even the oven up to 350°. I have dropped them many times (I have a hand that randomly gives out) and they haven't broke yet. The first set I have had for close to 10 years and the look as good as the set I just bought. I highly recommend these dishes. I love them!!!♥️♥️

I ordered 2 sets of dishes making it 8 each of everything. A set consists of 4 Dinner plates. 4 Small cereal bowls and 4 small cake plates. I like the maroon pattern it fits in well with my kitchen. The dishes are light in weight. I could not find larger bowls with the red rim so I purchased large correlle bowls in white . I ordered lunch size plates separately. If you need a Platter it is sold separately..

I ordered 3 sets of these since they are made in the USA and they are a durable product. We've owned a set for over twenty years and still use them but we needed to replace some other dishes that are just to heavy to handle due to arthritis and getting older. I received them a few days after ordering so Walmart did their job satisfactorily . I had one of the plates chipped and contacted Corelle through email a couple days ago and still waiting for a response from them since the plates come with a three year warranty and it was received chipped from the factory since I couldn't find any pieces in the box it was shipped in.

As with all corelle dishes I've purchased. I'm not dissapointed in these. They look nice and Ive recieved complements. In a house with 2 teenage boys dishes get dropped often. So far only 1 has broken when it hit its edge on the hard floor. Just wish it had deep bowls in the set
When I was in College, on my own for the first time, I had a set of Corelle dishes. I loved them, but back then, you could only get blue or gold dishes. You could drop those suckers, and they held together well. Now, I am turning 66, and I am downsizing. What a pretty set of dishes. I did make a mistake though, I didn't order any cups. I noticed after I had placed the order, you did have cups, but with a different set. That other set would of been too big for me. I was hoping I could order the cups individually. I would only want 4.
One box was great! No problems. The 2nd box of dishes had problems with the print on the plates. The red swirl was lighter on some of the plates, so I am returning that box. The quality of these plates is mixed. I've ordered four previous boxes of the same pattern, and two of those had the same problem.
Not the Corelle of old. These dishes are very sound structurally and are very resistant to chipping and breaking. But they are no longer uniform in size and shape. The non-uniformity is most noticeable when the dishes are stacked. They do not nest evenly and the edges of the plates are obviously wavy.
I ordered 2 of these sets for my mom who lives in another state. l was shocked when they were delivered that day. My mom was unhappy that there were no cups, but I explained that they didn't come with any. The bowls are small (maybe enough for 2 scoops of ice cream). Trying to find matching pieces is very hard and expensive. She really likes the pattern and she needed something lightweight so its easier for her to use.
Corelle dinnerware has been around for years, and I have had 3 sets. In between those sets, I owned ceramic dinnerware that was heavy to lift and chipped or broke easily. Corelle is the only dinnerware that is lightweight and VERY sturdy. I also like that it is dishwasher, oven, and microwave safe. It also takes up very little space in my cabinet, because the dishes are so thin. I like the design on this set, and I expect that it will be my dinnerware for years to come.
I feel there will be more people buying Corelle dishes as our population gets older. They are so much lighter, but strong. I still have a few bowls that I bought, and used daily, 40 years ago. They were only white back then and now come in pretty patterns and shapes. I tried stoneware, but they are too heavy. When I got ahead financially, I tried porcelain. Lighter, but very fragile and too expensive to keep replacing. My Correlle dishes are pretty, light, strong, and reasonably priced. They even make matching serving pieces. What more could I ask.?
