Maybe if we added more speakers we'd encounter problems with the app, but so far, no issues whatsoever.Really grateful to the Glasgow team for recommending this over the Yamaha I was considering. I bought this recently to use not just as a TV soundbar, but also to replace my long cherished Hi Fi system, because I now listen to far more music on streaming services than on CD's. Music sound quality was my prime driver and the Denon sounds natural, detailed and immersive. Just wonderful. It also looks great and of course sounds superb as a soundbar for movies and TV. I've seen some comments about the lack of a remote, but who needs yet another one and I think the phone app works just fine and you can use your TV remote for volume. It is an absolute doddle to set up for TV and music streaming. At the Richer Sounds price this is unbelievable value for a high quality product.

This soundbar blew me away. The voice enhancer allows you to hear every word of dialogue and the mids are smooth. The subwoofer is small but it packs a punch and handles the lower frequencies with no problem. This soundbar is great for music lovers too. It’s definitely worth the money! I’m a big fan of Denon now.

Pros: Great sound, easy to install and simple to use. Dialogue enhancing feature is awesome. Transforms watching TV dramas.Cons: For less tech minded people it could do with its own remote.
It’s brilliant sound for a one speaker delivery. Not quite plug and play, but online instructions very good. It’s wide at approx 100cm, but I think that helps delivery around the room.Sub woofer adds to the quality, but the best thing is the voice enhancer and simple to use app from phone. Not sure why people want remotes when phone app can do it all. You can also hack straight in and swap to iTunes if you wish and then back to film by re-selecting source. I have older tv but optical cable works fine. Really happy, great bit of kit.
I bought this product as an upgrade to my 6 year old cheap LG soundbar which cost around ÂŁ99 at the time, so the quality difference was a big jump.I spent the first couple of days testing the sound by playing music via the HEOS app which it recommends you use, and this ties in nicely with my Spotify account.The app allows you to alter the EQ settings as well as subwoofer output, and obviously the volume. You can still change the volume using your TV remote but there is no visual indicator on the soundbar itself.I am very impressed by this soundbar, and for the price to get Dolby Atmos and a subwoofer included is good value for money having done some research.
I bought this a couple of weeks ago to replace a Sony soundbar for my Sony TV. Was looking at the Denon and Sony, spoke to my local Richer Sounds branch (Reading) and after discussing the differences, decided on the Denon. Excellent service delivered the next day, also came with free 6 year Richer Sounds warranty.Very easy to set up, including downloading of latest software. Linked with my Sony TV very easily, great sound quality can control with my TV remote or the HEOS app on my tablet. Have also used it to stream, music, radio stations from the HEOS app again excellent quality.Would definitely recommend the Denon and Richer Sounds
I’ve had this sound bar just over 2 days and I’m very pleased with the purchase. I previously used a sound bar with “sound projector”, technology which was very good but developed a fault which degraded over a couple of weeks, so I sought a suitable replacement.Very impressed with soundscape from a single bar array plus the subwoofer using Sky HD, Amazon Prime/Netflix and BluRay player. Further impressed with the HEOS facilities and can stream 196/24 FLAC files from JRiver on a PC or from iOS devices.Works well with Logitech Harmony remotes when grouped with other units’ volume controls.
This is a nice soundbar. I've had it for a couple of weeks at the time of writing. I'm not usually a fan of soundbars - I've always felt underwhelmed by them.The subwoofer is a much needed addition to the system, otherwise it would sound very flat. It connects wirelessly and it paired immediately with no issues.I have tweaked the EQ slightly using the HEOS app and the ability to increase the speech clarity is a nice feature but one I have not yet needed to use, as speech is nice and clear anyway!Overall, I'd say it is worth the money.

Now they did add all the latest technology making sure it will play high res audio and airplay 2 and more. You still use the HEOS app and it all works the same as it did before and can connect to anything else with HEOS. But these are fantastic sound bars, just with a few upgrades and a new name. I do professional home audio for a living and I install these all the time, customers always love them and are very happy. Once I show people how to use the app, which takes maybe 2 minutes, they fully understand and love it.
