After weeks of deliberations between dewalt and another more expensive competitor, I finally decided to go with Dewalt. This is the toughest most rugged drill I have ever used. I have dropped it a few times and gotten it a little wet and this thing keeps on ticking man. Has not lost any power in a year of very tough usage. I have drilled out entire houses for electrical wiring and it just keeps going man. Buy Dewalt buy USA

I have spent most of my working life in Film Special Effects and Industrial Design, Working on films like StarWars, Alien, Superman and for companies such as Rolls Royce, Avon Cosmetics, IBM, British Airways on industrial design models and prototypes. I have used tools and machinery from around the world and find that Dewalt produces tough and extremely reliable equipment. With the advent of 3D printing i am finding new uses for their drills sanders and routers I have a collection of more than 30 DeWalt tools which i use daily and after more than 24 years my original drills are still working as good as the day they were purchased. Im looking forward Dewalts next innovation.

I’m glad that I purchased this impact driver. It’s light weight but made tough and after months of continuous use has no issues. I even dropped it from a roof and still runs great.
I am an electrician and I use my drill alot at work, and it would be a 5 star drill if it did a better job at holding bits. Very often when drilling holes for tapcons, drilling tapcons into block and even screwing in standard screws the bit holder will come loose and I have to re tighten it. It is nothing major however it is an annoyance and shouldnt be happening on a new drill. This is also not a problem limited to one drill as every drill the company I work for had purchased in the past year has done this (all being this model drill). If it held bits better this would be a 5 star drill. It is much lighter than previous models and the battery’s hold their charge really well.
I bought this after having Milwaukee break on me every year for 3 years. I final bought this and have had it for at least 4 years with no problem. I work as a electrician so i use it every day too. This is a great drill, i will never change to another brand. DEWALT ALL THE WAY!!!
Great 1/2in hammer drill. Really love the connect part. This drill just keeps drilling hole after hole.Holds your bits very well. Like the different speeds.
