Dior Diorshow Pump 'n' Volume HD Mascara - Black

I really love this new mascara. It has a rich black color and covers my lashes very well. I’m also a fan of putting the mascara on the lower lashes, and it makes me achieve a Twiggy look! So long do my lower lashes look. It stays on nicely the whole day, nothing smudges or crumbles. I did not notice any fallouts and didn’t have to wipe off anything. It stayed right where I needed it to be the whole day. Even when it is very hot and my forehead was sweating ;) You really want to get it if you are into extra volume and length. This pump factor helps with getting out all the product on to the brush. I think it will be perfect when mascara is not fresh anymore and when you feel that it might be time for a new one. This is a nice mascara. Makes my lashes look thick if not a little clumpy if I’m not careful. I can get away with one coat before it gets too clumpy for my liking. I tend to go over top of it with glossier lash slick to separate and lengthen till my hearts content. The wand is too fat for the bottom lash line, and can smudge on the eyelid.

This mascara is expensive BUT this is the best mascara i’ve ever bought! I have blonde, horizontally/a little bit downwards growing very short eyelashes but GURL this mascara fixed all my problems! I don’t know what they used in the formula but this mascara lifts my eyelashes up! It also make them longer. I am so impressed with this. I never thought I would ever try such a good mascara. This is without doubt the best mascara on the market. I don’t use anything else as mascara than this anymore. I already used 3. That’s how good they are! You just need to try them once and I am sure you would be as convinced as I am about this. It’s worth every penny girl i swear.

The brush is different from the regular diorshow. The brush isn’t fluffy. It’s rubbery and stiff. So it’s not as good as the original brush. But it depends on your preferences. The formula doesn’t seem to work great with this brush. It seems to flake more. But they re released this mascara twice in one year with a new formula that’s not as dry. It is true that this mascara does appear to “clump”.... but it doesn’t clump in the stereotypical bad mascara way. It’s very hard to explain…. I don’t know if it’s the formula, the brush, or a combination of the two. The brush is not the dense bushy brush that I usually love. But there is something about the way this mascara applies, and about the formula: it gives my lashes tons of lift that stays all day until I remove it. And while it does appear to “clump”, the final result is visually appealing instead of gloppy and messy looking... very much like a subtle false lash affect. I got no smudging, fall out, or flaking from this mascara. And lastly, it comes off like a dream with standard micellar water. TIP: do NOT use the usual ‘place at the lash root and wiggle to the tips’ application- it promotes the clumps. Use a straight, light handed and swift stroke.The only thing that remains to be seen, is whether or not the quality of the product holds up over time. UPDATE: over a month later and I’m still in love!!

Great deal for a great Mascara!

Pleasantly surprised at how lovely this mascara is! I don’t usually splurge on myself, so finding this a bit discounted was great. The mascara goes on light but shows an instant impact. Barely had to put any on, but my lashes look like they grew an inch! Not chunky at all and didn’t smear. I may be a Dior fan for life ;)
